How do you expect ppl to play this game when it takes 30 secs to cast a spell and healing is nigh on impossible??

When ur fighting 80 vs 20 you have no chance when the lag decides nothing is going to work…

It puts ppl off playing this game when u cant get something so simple right….

It is quite normal to lag a tad bit when you have over 2 mega blobs on a map. But if you face this problem even in small fights, it may be something on your end.

kitten near everyone on my server has been complaining about the same problem lately, I doubt we are all having individual problems. For some reason the lag/skill delay is worse on EB than it is on the bl’s.

Game itself have been lagging horribly for me, even to the point of getting lag spikes during dungeons and wvw runs and of course, most or all in the party experience it as well.

Honestly I think it is due time Anet make a maintenance on the servers. Shut down for a few hours and clean up. If memory doesn’t fail me, will be one year soon since the last one… Come on, Anet!

Last night it started with a DC followed by multiple instances of 30sec plus skill lag in a BL mixed between roaming and defending a tower. Last night was the worst I’ve had in a while. Occasionally I’ll get skill lag of a few sec or a DC from time to time, but never that much at once.

The lag in WvW is absolutely unplayable tonight, I was on a bl, no zergs around and I had skills not activating or taking 20-30 seconds before going off.

For kittens and giggles I decided to hop onto some random PvE maps to see how bad it was there, ran into a 30+ person group spamming 1 against a champ and I had 0 lag and skill delay.

Glad to see y’all are evenly distributing your resources.

I have been in WvW all evening, and currently am now as well. I am not having lag issues. Perhaps you shouldn’t claim WvW as a whole is having a problem. That only makes you appear angry and uninterested in solving the issue. Unless you offer server, specific map, and time, how do you expect help?

I don’t expect help, I expect WvW to be ignored as usual.

For the record (not like it matters since we don’t get red names on this forum) I play on AR, I was on FCbl and the problem occurred at the time of my post and for about an hour before that (which is when I logged on).

The players I was talking to in TS were having the same problem and like I said, switching to PvE completely cleared up the lag for me but my guildies in WvW still had it. Of course PvE in this game is just awful so now I’m just logging off for the night.

The past week has been abysmal, and it’s definitely the servers.
I’m on a 300Mbps fiber-optic connection down/up getting a 3ms latency ping to test servers in WA near their central offices and am playing other games/streaming HD video with no problem. I’m even doing this seamlessly while playing GW2 in WvW to verify this issue is not stemming from a local problem. PvE and PvP clears up fine as well.

And I’m getting pretty much a constant 5-10 second delay in WvW. Even the mobs are rubber-banding and not just my character/players. This occurs no matter how many players are in the map or in an area. Standing at spawn has the same results.

My guild and other server members are also complaining about the issue. The mode is barely playable at this point.
