They’ve been talking about how they’re planning to release in China, and that’s why they need the new WvW map for overflow, That’s BS.

They’re going to merge some of the WvW servers together (By that, I mean the actual WvW portion of the game, not the servers)

So for example, Stormbluff Isle and NSP might be on the same team….Before they couldn’t do something like that this because people would be poed they got put in a Queue.

Now they’ll be able to do just throw them in the Overflow Map.

Any kind of proof of this, or are you just making stuff up?

Doesn’t really feel like a good way to start a discussion and will most likely only lead to flaming and such.

I disagree, they are definitely doing the changes because of the chinese/asian market. There are A LOT bigger and larger guilds that play MMO’s there compared to here.

However, I don’t think merging servers will happen soon even IF they decided to do that. Simply because it takes them months to come out with map changes and other smaller changes, do you really think they have resources and ability to take on the fairly large size task of merging servers just for WvW? I doubt it…

Anet can’t even fix the party options in WvW or simple bugs or requests from the player base so highly doubt they can pull any of this off, most likely situation will be some sort of change to WvW where people have to buy gems to transfer again feeding Anet more money.

I do not believe this.

There are more people in WvW than ever before and lag is at an all time high. Why would they merge servers?
