Guild Wars 2

Need lots of help spending World Ability Points:

I have 216 world ability points, and play WVW about 30 to 60 minutes a day. I am in WvW mostly for daily but will join a zerg to take towers or keeps if I see one.

My question is since I mostly solo where should I spend my points. My guess is Guard Killer and Defense Against Guards. Also What is “Mercenary’s Bane”- What is considered a Mercenary?

Although will HOT change my spending? We are in a very small guild (4 regular players). What will I need to be doing in WvW to get points for our Hall?

Points will be reset upon release of the expansion and afaik, the guard stacks will be removed. Mercenaries are the frogs dredge and ogres in EB. Perhaps the repair and golem bankers through upgrades may count as a mercenary too.

Get guard stacks and enjoy them while you can. HoT will reset the points so you can pick something else when that happens.
