is there a match up list? like last season?

They said 9 rounds, we are in round 3, still 6 more rounds to go.
Most of them for most servers completely irrelevant.
Ranks 2-8 will be completely decided in the last 2 rounds, every result before doesn’t matter et al.

You’ll be fine to get the achievements. Personally, I’m having to work 60 hours a week until April 30th, and I have still managed to get 5 of the 10 achievements so far, only a few weeks in. I’m so, so thankful to ANet that they reconsidered and changed the requirements on the tournament. For season 1 I just gave up in a week because I cannot play this game 24/7.

It’s swiss style this season, so it’s based on the number of points each server has earned through their matchups within the season up to the current point. 1st place receives 5 points, 2nd place receives 3 points, and 3rd place receives 1 point. So each week the servers with the 3 lowers over all scores will play each other and so on.

Not quite sure how you came to that conclusion…. Seeing as the points accumulate week to week, and it is the accumulation of win points (5,3,1) that decide whether you win not the last two rounds.

EDIT: In all actuality for the most part the ranks will be decided long before the last round. That’s kind of how the Swiss style tournament works… You will remain in static match ups towards the end since it will be where you belong rank wise. It is only chaotic and decisive at the beginning which we are drawing to a close of, and the rank alignment is getting pretty clear in most leagues.

What happens is servers that win get 5 points, and get bumped up a tier. Then they lose the next week to get 1 point, and go back down. The servers getting second place in their match get 3 points and stay there. So, with the exception of the top and bottom servers, every server is getting an average of 3 points per match. All of these server will be clumped up with similar scores for the duration of the tournament. Thus, whichever servers from 2-8 can perform better in the last couple weeks than they did the rest of the tournament will be able to pass the other servers.

If you are in a league where the first will always win and the last will always loose (most league seem to be like that, only 2:1 may be a way out) score and matches in every week n will be:

1) winner T1 5*n points
2-3) second T1 3n+2 points
2-3) winner T2 3n+2 points

4-6) looser T1 3n points
4-6) Second T2 3n points
4-6) Winner T3 3n points

7-8) Looser T2 3n-2 points
7-8) Second T3 3n-2 points
9) Looser T3 n points

So 2.) and 8.) are 4 points apart, the 8 can catches up by 2 wins in the last two rounds. As the 2.) will mostly get 3 points per round vs the 1.)
And if you are 2.) and loose the last 2 rounds you end as 8.)
