Alright so my guild Has just recently gotten commander for the guild and well needless to say it was a let down. why? you ask. Well for one where is all the strategy the co commander and so on. Okay what needs to hapkitten squads need to be redone OR give something to guilds where they can make their own raid groups cause squads are not that much of help in WVW.
For one thing we need to see people on the map that are in the squad not sure why we can’t maybe it’s broken right now but it is something that needs to be in the squad system.
Also more people than just the commander need to be able to ping and mark on the map and so on so forth.
Now lets say the squad wants to split up, ok well now we have two groups in the same squad doing two things so what happens? the group with out the commander does not do as well as the one with the commander because we can mark/ping or anything.
Needless to say Squads are not group friendly at all. Yes we get chat and the commander can mark and ping things but other than that there is nothing.
I don’t know i just think squads need to be much better or let me make a war banned or raid with my guild so we all can see where everyone is at all time and do more than just one thing and more than just the commander can ping on the map. Because right now squads are almost only chat that’s it.
People might look at this and say well this guy is only thinking about his guild…. Well yes, yes I am because we want to go out there just us and do something if more people want to join us cool but we want to be able to get a guild group going and have a group here and there with everyone in the same squad but right now that is not what squads are for which needs to change otherwise there is no point to them.
