We have the markers and we have targeting within your party. I think there needs to have a option to target for your whole squad. I know markers are suppose to be like “squad targeting” but it just isnt as good as how the targeting work in party. If Arena Net could implement a squad targeting system in which if the driver or anyone in the squad target someone everyone should be able to target that one person just like party targeting. If it sounds op like really op. Anet can just limit to first 3 or first 4 parties in the squad. It can help out fight guilds a lot and aid in GvG a lot.

They do not care about GvG, you should have left that out, you may have stood a chance of them looking at it.

I thought there was, put a marker on a target, doesnt it show for your entire squad? Or am I missing something.

You could place the target on someones head but you cant hit “T” to automatically target that person. You have to look for the player and click thousand time. A squad wide targeting system could make it so much easier. With party targeting you get a red target over the persons or objects head. I would like to see same thing with squad targeting maybe you could get like a yellow target. you know what i mean

In GW1, when you had a party member target something a red target would pop up next to your name in the party window, and clicking it let you automatically choose the target selected. That might be useful if implemented.

Not sure about that, never played gw1. Seriously tho if Anet add squad targeting system it can really help out 15-20 man groups and in GvGs as well. It can actually show some hope to the players that anet or wvw devs actually care about 15-20 man groups xD

There really needs to be a key binding to switch to the squad marked target. Not just for organised guild groups, but for normal zergs too

yeah, markers are great and all but they do not serve the purpose “squad wide targeting”
