Right now if the squad leader steps down the lieutenants are demoted and markers disappear. It would be nice if this didn’t happen so that guilds that want to run without a public tag can still use markers, etc.

300g commander tag not so worth it if the markers stayed.

Loosing the tag when the leader leaves is unintended behaviour. Anet do not intend to allow untagged squads, its a bug. The moment they fix that bug is the moment guilds will stop playing completely.
