Stability Change coming Tuesday 10th
Transformation are going to get a nice buff though. I was hoping they would apply the new deficanes system to them but a re-stab effect works too.
Over all i do not think its going to be as bad as you think it will be. If any thing its going to make skilled play on both ends now no more stab and forget and no more random hand cc. Every thing will need to be timed and the better timed side will win out as in if the stab side dose a good stab rotation for charges they will not feel cc but no more stab and forget type game play. As for the cc side you need to place lines where the other team is going to go not where they are or your simply waiting cc (not that hard cc will have a real point to it then just getting immune all the time.)
I think we are going to see a new set of builds and set up more then the GWEN meta that is killing ppl from the inside.
It sounds like aoe stabs that use a utility is going to be 5 stacks f1-f5 effects are going to be 3 stacks self stabs are going to be 10 and transformation are going to be 3 stack on a reapply. As for the ground effects maybe 3 ever 1 sec or pules kind of like a transformation for 5 ppl in your aoe. I like to know what stab going to be like for necro death shorde and thf coming out of stealth will look like.
Added note: Think of it as if you have collision detection where ppl cant simply push though other ppl but not on players but on chose of ground. So that guarid with a hammer becomes a real wall that ppl must go arone to get to the back caster (war’s stuns are some what this way too but less targets over all.)

they way i see it you’ll still have a window to push but you will need enough stacks to determin the amount of time you can push through the CC’s
plus most dangerous ccs are normaly one hit or one pulse like a static field , the longer duration cc’s like Entangle still only apply once for the immobilse.
if you push a Guardain/warroir with a hammer CC build with only 3xstability your going to put yourself in a hard situation , as above said , it gives the hammer vs hammer situation a double ko sernario and it also makes those CC type builds a Wall of defence if you don’t have enough stacks of stability.
i guess now you’ll have to use skills/utilties to gain the stacks required for the duration of the push rather than just the current apply it once and refresh (from having one person in the team providing said stability.)
it could give Guardians more breathing room out of the Stability role.

It read to me as if that referred to PvE mobs with defiance/unshakable and not player characters.

Yeah maybe, i thought the 2 changes were somewhat related, so maybe i am just linking them together and shouldn’t. I hope your right, blind is way to common.
