The stealth in this game is seriously ridiculously over powered. Do some adjustments already.

I advise that you provide respectful and persistent feedback to Anet so that they do the right thing.

only thieves know how to play, they chant “L2P” every time their god mode is challenged.

Here are the problems with stealth:

1)Thieves are able to permanently maintain stealth by using Cloak and Dagger on walls/gates/bridges in towers and keeps. In doing so they can stay hidden for as long as they want and reclaim it on their own (which is very possible). Fix for this would be to restrict the stealth from the skill to only occur when hitting creatures.

2)Thieves can also permanently maintain stealth by using the Heartseeker + smoke field combo which is readily available thanks to the lack of any cooldown on their skills……………

3)Veil can stealth an infinite number of allies meaning an entire zerg can be put into stealth. This can be used to take advantage of culling during large scale fights. Until culling is fixed, this is a problem.

Really, the biggest issue right now is that stealth stacks in duration and that there’s way too many skills that give them. For something so powerful as invisibility, you’d think it wouldn’t be so readily available…..
There should be a max length of time that a thief is able to be in stealth before the revealed effect is forced on.

One idea that I think could be really helpful to help people deal with stealth is that whenever we hit someone who is in stealth, we should still see the numbers on the screen of the damage.
