80 ~ Thief/Guardian

Has this exploit been fixed, or is there plans to fix it?

Considering you need to continue to fight upstairs and control the higher floors, this “bug/exploit” you speak of isn’t important.
The boss being alive/dead is minor in the equation.
The keep lord buffs the allies and does massive damage. It would be a lot harder to take SM if he was actually there and fighting.

You make you’re alliance and server look bad. I suggest probably switching if you’re having trouble taking stonemist.
I fail to see how reporting a bug in the game can make an alliance or server look bad. If it is a bug, it’s obviously not working as intended. If that bug is being used to someone’s advantage, then they are exploiting the bug. Enough said.
PS: I’m not exactly sure what the bug is. Can someone explain?
People were AOE’ing the boss from below the grate while some people were holding aggro from above. (kiting/using pets) Defenders were upset that they couldn’t use their roof siege to kill the attackers. What I don’t understand is, if the defenders were going to be able to save that castle, why didn’t they kill the attackers on the first floor?
edit: And from what I saw in screenshots. The defenders had no where near enough players trying to defend.

The bug is where people hit the Keep lord and kill him through the lower floor with falling damage such as Arrow Carts and Elementalist Metor Shower. Then they go cap w/o a keep lord defending. The lord just sits there and dies making it easier to cap.
EDIT: Disregard, question was answered.
They Ascension alliance claims that you can exploit by killing the keep lord through the floor in SM. Though they cannot seem to replicate it to be sure, they claim to have lost their matchup because of this and act as if they’re better than their opponents.
The next match when they were placed with the same group that had just defeated them. Rather than fighting and using enemy tactics they chose the option of giving up and moaning on forums. They still have yet to prove any such exploit/bug to anybody but themselves.
It probably would have helped to type it out in the first post instead of trolling the thread for a while gank, but what do I know.
Sadly Gank doesn’t even fully understand what happened because he most likely was not there during the said “exploit”. The rendition he heard was put together by the Guild leaders as a sort of propaganda.
I don’t blame him tho, i blame the system.
fite da power!

If it is an exploit, and we have seen what ArenaNet does to people who exploit (Karma vendor fiasco), why on earth would they try to replicate it? I know I wouldn’t. It is not worth a temp or perma ban.

I am pretty sure the bottom of the floor where his stands is “grated” as in not a solid floor. And, considering it has been like this through all the betas, I don’t consider it an exploit. You Still have to stand in the circle up above and cap, killing the keep lord is not the only thing you have to do to capture SM. If Anet want to change that behavior, then its up to them.

The thing is, it’s not really an exploit. Anet hasn’t commented on the topic atall and they’re fully aware of what people are arguing about. But the problem is neither side has proof of the actual event happening.
There is proof in my mind and I assume Anet will fix/change it. I don’t consider it an exploit though and it certainly wasn’t the reason the defenders lost Stonemist let alone lost the entire match-up.

What do you mean “in my mind there is proof”, there either is actual proof or there isn’t. This post really floored me, im so confused now. _

Oh, Sorry I did see the screenshots. And they looked legit. I also doubt that many people would make it up.
The screenshots show a bear attacking the Keep lord, nothing much else =/
