Stop violating the OP’s game mode. This is a karma train map and organized groups mess up the PvE players.

Also, EotM is a WvW area. Guild groups can go there and have GvG’s and etc. It would be best for the K-Trains to know what guild groups to not go near like EP, Agg, vii, BS, etc. That is just a few guilds to stay away from, unless you have an organized group to fight.

Find a zerg and follow it. I had 3 80s from the time of launch until EotM came out. Since then I’ve gotten nearly 2 more 80s. It’s easily farmed for levels if you run with decent commanders.

I would love to see a video of a guild sieging a tower or keep and holding it against the zergs. The commanders would probably go “WHAT? You’re not supposed to DEFEND YOUR KEEP kitten it! Give me my Champ Bags and Dragonite!!”

FYI, making a QQ whine post like this is the 100% best way to ensure that more people will be doing it in the future, the direct opposite of what you’re trying to achieve.

Hello. My name is Kaga, and this week I was in the worst spot in edge : Frostreach. The fantastic always outnumbered Bigbear Castle.

And yet, i was able to hold frostkeep for more than 3 hours yesterday, farming the zergs coming in, giving us a great baggie harvest with a generous side of zergling tears.

Against the grain of the karmatrainers that believe you should let it be capped and just recap it, The ice castle got defended against overwhelming odds. and a great many defenses ( for season) and kills were obtained by the happy edgerunners of Frostreach. Best moment was me on burning oil and a mate on a door cata killing 50 guys rushing the backbridge entrance in 10 seconds. It was that brutal.

If i’m around and running things, beware! Commander Kaga farms j00!

I guess after PvF matchup threads gone and Magumma retreats from their GvG not PPT claims after losing 9-0 to EU is bully farming uplevels / new players in Eotm ? This will make Magumma really popular with other server players.

I totally didn’t take my guild to EotM and farm the karma train as a direct result of this thread.

Any type of PvP format is not a place for carebears – sorry that people are ruining your “karma” train :P

I wonder, how people will re-act if ANet had blended PvP-PvE Zones (I know EoTM almost falls into that category already lol). I foresee future threads as:

I’m just going to pull this quote and shove it right up every guild group that goes into EotM. I mean seriously, you’re tossing around a double standard here. Uplevels are a close equivalent to having no opposition. That’s why guild groups running in EotM have become the laughing stock and veritable comedic punching bag of any match they enter. Doesn’t even matter which side their on either, you’re getting laughed at and don’t even know it.

By “running around in there” it’s loosely defined as actually defending structures and hunting for the karma train. If you are a guild group and part of the karma train, then it’s ok.

btw.. if you are in EotM hunting bags as a form of gaining wealth, you are gaining wealth in one of the least efficient manners possible in game.

Bro you are going to get farmed so badly now just for whining about this. EOTM is the best farming place. This is the closest thing to open world pvp we will get, because were pretty much farming pve people, its amazing. We are crushing the pve champ trains of gw2 and before our feet lay bags for days.

Lets be honest, any half decent guild can take 20 people into EOTM and kill any group they find in there by just pressing 111111.

But lets say it’s a tuesday night, you’re at the end of your raid, you have 12-13 members left with 2-3 trial members that are locked out of WvW and you need something to do, this is what EOTM is good for.

Its a place you can take 15 people, kill bad players for an hour and have a laugh when you just don’t have the numbers online to GvG or deal with guilds that run 25-30 deep.

All the tears i see just makes me want to go back and do it even more, it adds fuel to the fire to see all you carebear pve players who get everything you want because you’re the majority and Anet caters to you.

It puts a smile on my face to know that groups of 50-60 carebear RPers stop playing the game for the night because they can’t run around and press 1 to earn champ bags.

You find running around pressing 1 on gates fun while others find running around pressing 1 collecting bags/tears from bad players fun. Play the game the way you want to play and stop complaining, i don’t see any threads from organized groups saying “oh sugar, i wish all these baddies would stop ktraining” because they just don’t care what you do.

1. The first secret I’m going to share is the first battle cry I learned doing WvW with a guild. " Uplevels Must Die!" So you’ve got a target on your back. They don’t want you there leveling. It’s a place to go to play while you are in line for the other battle grounds. It’s not a learning farm or leveling ground.

2. The next secret is you are not guaranteed the ability to get achievements. You have to work for it. Hence the word Achievement. Meaning to reach a lofty goal. You have 9 weeks to them for the WvW tourney. It took me 8 days to do 10/10. All you really have to do is follow the Commanders. Then the Achievements will come. The rest of the WvW achievements are long and drawn out and looks to me like they could take many months of playing to get.

3. The last secret is find a guild who like to WvW. Get on mumble so you know what’s going on and can hear them. It’s what I did and I’ve had a wonderful time and made a lot of friends who make me laugh.

The point you fail to mention is that it’s really fun to do. Hitting a huge blob of PvEers thinking their dungeon zerk stats are good and downing dozens on one pass is a BLAST.

exactly this. guilds like Arkham don’t need EoTM carebear farming to be reminded that they’re one of the best.

1. It’s a great warmup before fighting players who might actually present a challenge in WvW. Maybe your guild is waiting for a few more players to log on and want to hit the ground running in a borderland.

2. It’s a great ending to a night of tough wins and losses. Maybe some of your guildmates had to log off and you can’t quite handle real WvW with 15 people.

3. It’s a good testing area. How’s that sustain build working for your melee train? Maybe you need to work on synchronizing leaps or stripping boons or rotating stabilities. A sea of 60 people, regardless of their own skill level (dismal) will help you improve movement/new tactics.

Transfer lockouts, guild practice runs, GvG, Lawls for killing nub zergs, all valid reasons to bring a guild into EotM.

For us its a case of being locked out of WvW, which I think is to long of a duration but that’s here nor there. Why wouldn’t we want to run together ? Your in a WvW zone expect WvW to happen.

EOTM is a free for all. You’re there to farm achievs? (therefore your goal is not to help your color) Well don’t be surprised if guilds are there to kill you.
