for the last 4 Wks we’ve had the same match-up WSR v Vabbi v Underworld this wouldnt be so bad if we had’nt won 3 wks in a row and i’m sure that Vabbi and UW must be wanting a change of match-up just for a change of pace if nothing else..you’re so called system to stop repeative match-ups is just not working just like megaserver so cant say im too suprised but would be nice to get killed by some one new just for the sheer surprise..(WSR)

You really don’t want to fight the servers even in the tier above, and even less from T7.

The problem isn’t in the system, the problem lies in the fact there is AT LEAST 6 to 9 servers too many in EU right now.

If Anet was to put the last 6 international servers together, i’m not even sure it would be enough to be the strenght of RoF and the other low tier Silver Servers…..

MU are “stale” mostly for 2 reasons :
- either you are in a place where there is only 3(maybe 4) servers in a given glicko intervale
- or you are in a place where all servers above or below your tier are so far away you won’t be teamed against them

I guarantee you no one on those servers would “like” facing Dzag/MS/RoS/FR or things like that even for a week, and those servers would find it uber boring quite fast too.

6 weeks of the same matchup here and most weeks in the same order. T1 has been locked for months. This the new state of WvW. Everyone playing the same matches every week.

yeah same for us same again..last good fights we had were against RoS n FR. we lost but so much more action instead of the vabbi wont attack if its slightly defended and the UW once turned back a time or 2 start to lose steam quickly..and then wake up on friday’s but never mind

Ring of Fire had the same situation for weeks as well. We’ve lost a lot of players because of it.

I have to disagree. AR has had people coming out of the woodworks for the chance to fight someone other than ET/EBay. The servers we are fighting right now had us with the outmanned buff on every map all night long and we still came out of reset night in 2nd place. Traditionally we are in dead last by a good amount on reset night.

You have that ONE week (and it’s if you aren’t being destroyed, with 100k handicap on monday, and spending prime time without keeps, sometimes with only a camp, and outblobbed 5 to 1) and after that, they are gone again the fairweather players pretending they don’t play because “same mus are boring”.

Reality is they don’t like playing when it’s boring due to nothing to do because you outnumber the ennemy, but they like even less playing when there is actually work/effort to do, and you are the ones outnumbered and getting farmed, basically not earning anything nor PvDing/KTraining.

They try once, and they are gone transforming an Mu you barely lost one week, into one you are 100k behind after WE…..and then they don’t come back again because “no point we are farmed trololol”

The weeks we don’t show up to fight is when we run into the same match up that we have played for a month straight.

I don’t see the difference, it’s all red tags in the end

I prefer even slightly balanced matchups to curb stomps because that’s much, much worse for a server
