SFR thief.
Most of us have already experienced a situation where you are either completely dominating the other 2 servers, or being completely crushed in WvW, or at least one of these.
This situation is not beneficial to anyone, it crushes the will to go in WvW and play and it promotes boredom and facerolling, wich shoudnt happen in any game mode.
Many people claim WvW is not made to be balanced, i agree with this, players will play where they want, therefore, population inbalances are unavoidable.
I gave some though to the WvW problems and my sugestions to make WvW more enjoyable are the following. (please, if you disagree counter with something positive, dont be a troll)
- Give a real buff to a server if it is on the losing side AND whille fighting in their borderlands , something like a “call to arms” or “fight to survive”.
The idea behind this is, if anyone is in a near death situation, the will to survive will kick in and people will give all they have, same goes for server.
why only on the borderland of the said server? well, borderlands is our “home nation”, if we’re losing, the resources would be put there and not in a far away land. dont give it to the winning server, if they are winning they can defend their borderlands and push on the others.
- Make outmanned buff a real buff and not a cosmetic one (although i would prefer the first sugestion).
- Change the orbs effects from effective to cosmetic . more hp and bonus to stats should be given to the losing side, not the winning. Make orbs give +karma +xp.
thats it for now. Its short i know, any more ideas would be good.
As for the queues, thats a players problem, if you are unhappy with them, change to taht low level server that could use your help. if you want to be in a wvw crowded server, then you should expect it.
