[Suggestion] Character Access Express
They have the account bound inventory slots. I get what you’re saying but it makes those slots and the item itself in the gem store pointless. They can gouge us for each acc. inventory slot and make more money so I don’t see them doing this.
Not pointless, very beneficial and profitable. The account inventory slots are perm and sold individually. They are great for sharing a salvage kit and maybe a few other things… that is the benefit and limitation of them. What I am talking about is a 1 time use item that can be used to access all account items (in bank, in bag slots, and equipt on toons). This doesn’t negate the value of the account inventory slots, it adds to the category and increases the value. Being that they would be 1 time use, people would buy these often and Anet would profit.
So currently right now there are items available to accomplish this but would mean unequipping characters before logging out.
You have the shared inventory slot and you can purchase the permanent Bank access contract, put the contract in Shared slot and profit, you are only limited then on how many bank tabs you have purchased.
well if you are on one toon and forgot an item or want an item on another.. you have no way to get it. For instance you are on your guardian and want your ascended or legendary greatsword you left on your warrior.. there is no way to currently get the item without logging out your toon, logging on the other, depositing the item in the bank or putting it in the shared slot, then logging off and logging back on the other and taking the item out of the bank / slot.. it’s cumbersome. Especially if you are in wvw and there is a queue.
