WvW a fresh and new experience.
And on top of that there is the new Golem Mastery line.
Add to that the most wanted by the WvW players addition of more gold sinks.
We make so much gold in WvW we don’t know what to do with it.
It’s mind blowing.
You need to stop producing so many awesome features so fast.

Sadly Golem Mastery was datamined long ago. I suspect it has been in for quite a while and they were holding back so they would have some content down the road.

They could easily have postponed the new trick till 2015. The golem mastery was already so much win.

Guys this is so amazing. Screw those new masteries we got and the small QoL updates we got a year or ago. Those had to be “postponed” for “seasons”.

This is obviously the next coming of WvW updates.

I am SO excited! I canceled a new incoming game pre-order because I am going to spend my 50$ in a new colors tag with gems! Best HUE modification ever!!

I’m so excited that I successfully convinced all 1,700 of my Facebook friends to buy GW2 and also a full set of Rainbow Commandership Colors so that we can take Anvil Rock to tier 1 on a rainbow of exciting commandership awesomeness!

10/10 would pay for the exciting opportunity again!

Leave the bugs and exploits for what it is and give us golem mastery to create more imbalance oooo and traps to perma shut down siege if possible. Kthxbai!

That trick is going to be a game changer for a little while.

I disagree, I don’t think these changes were close to being enough. I think they need to add tanks and jets that are only available through the gem store. If they happen to get destroyed you will get instantly teleported into the enemy keep with 5 minutes of stealth and invulnerability. That would be a fun and exciting change to WvW.

I had always held onto the hope that the WvW team was working on something huge in the background that they couldn’t talk to us about (hence their lack of communication).
Ty for confirming my hope, Anet! This is both unexpected and exciting! Me and my family are so excited! I agree with OP though, just slow down you don’t want to outwork yourselves. I can’t begin to fathom how vigorously you had to have been working to make these huge updates in this short period of time (only 2 years!).

But wait!!! There’s More! 1 Year long wait for a couple of HUE changes to a Commander Icon! So now that Gold Sink comes in Rainbow choices! Fear the skills of the Amazing Hue changing team.

I am personally waiting in excitement for the ‘Nuke-A-BL’ consumable to be available in the gem store.

Isn’t also lovely that engineers have gotten love? Now EVERYONE is an engineer with nade spam. Reminds me of the good old counter strike days
