Hello,

been playing the new borderlands a lot for the past couple of weeks and here is a few suggestions i would like to point out.

1st and most important. Lack of wps in your homeborder. Wasn’t sure about the new change you made with the new borderlands having one wp in the old “garrison” aka earth keep and now two more wps in the south towers. Wanted to wait and try it out before i made up my mind. After 2 weeks of play, i am now definately positive that those 2 wps in the south towers are a major disadvantage for the overall experience of the WvWers. Although when in enemy border the one extra wp at the spawn tower might help a bit (only a bit) it doesn’t compensate to the fact that you will only have 1 wp available in your homeborder. The map is too large and even if you get familiar with it and the routes you have to take, the distance is still too big for anyone to cover over and over again every day. The way i see it, there are two possible ways to make this better. One is to open the wps in the south towers for all regardless if this is your home or enemy border and two is, to bring back the good old wps in every keep in your homeborder and therefore discard the wps in the south towers completely. At this point i would like to point out the disadvantages of the first option. Having a wp in the south towers is better than no wp at all but still, it doesnt add up much, considering that towers are harder to defend than keeps. Imagine if you did have a wp in the south tower and it got contested. You would have to run all the way from earth keep just to check it out. Until you get there the tower will most likely be lost already. Even if the other south tower had a wp itself, it would still require time to travel to the contested tower. I mean, trying to defend a tower when you get inside and the wall/gate is already at 10% is pretty much a lost cause. This is not the same however with keeps. What a keep offers you, is the abbility to have one more barier between you and the attackers. So even if the attackers have already breached outer, you will still be able to defend inner. Therefore wps in keeps are a much more sustainable solution.

2nd. Aggroing guards gets the tower/keep contested. Keep in mind that this, adds up with the problems of having wps that you can use in the south towers of your homeborder. Although this idea seems interesting, having attackers being more careful not to aggro the guards and defenders being able to see if an objective is under attack from the first second, it makes things, on the defender’s side, harder. Noone wants to constantly checking keeps to see if they are under attack just because one roamer is flipping the shrines. Do not get me wrong. I like the new change. I just think it will have better efficiency IF the radius of the guards getting aggro is dicreased by a significant number. If someone attacks the guards, fine, the objective becomes contested. But not if someone is just passing by trying to get to somewhere else.

3rd. Guild catas and guild siege in general. Okey, 25 supplies for a superior siege was op but, 50… I mean, i can carry 15 supplies so i am going to make four runs anyway to build the cata. Might as well build a superior one. Same goes for when we will have the +5 again. Three runs for a superior, three runs for a guild cata. With 50 supplies required, you are basically taking this siege out of the game. If the cost was saving me from one supply run then i might start using them again. Same goes for every other guild siege.

That’s all i’ve got so far. Good Job on the new borderlands, they look amazing. Just hope you ’ll take my suggestions under consideration so we can all start enjoying them more than we already are.
