Guild Wars 2

Please Anet, allow commanders to have 2 options when leading. First option would be to display tag for guild only, and the 2nd option to display for everyone else. There is way to much full BL zerging going on with culling gone. Most people now are just ignoring the fact that there are multiple commanders on the field and simply joining one massive force which in turn causes every server to become a full bl vs full bl vs full bl

Regardless of reason, I’m for the commanders having the option to only display their tag to the guild. Moreover, I’m all for guild members appearing as yellow dots on the minimaps.

It’s called Guild Wars for a reason, and sometimes the guilds need their privacy without pugs running around ruining their plans.

I agree with this entirely, I’d love to be able to command just my Guild without worrying about stepping on the toes of another commander, or pugs chasing after me.

I love this idea, in fact I said about the same thing yesterday in guild chat. T1 is one big brainless zergfest atm, this would fix a lot of issues I think.

I would LOVE it if I could only display my commander tag for my guild only. I don’t want to necessarily lead everyone.

I honestly don’t care either way about the commander icons (more options, though, is always better, so I do support it, even if I’m not avid about it), but please – include guildies as dots on the minimap. The usefulness – both in WvW and PvE’s guild missions – would be extreme.

Yes. Please. This is a needed change and a great gold sink to boot. More options for commanders means more players willing to buy the icon, and sometimes even for multiple characters.

Yes! I am not a commander, nor am I in a guild that organizes zerg busting in WvW, but I am all for more functionality with commander icons. If this function were enabled, I believe there would be a lot more zerg-busting groups (that don’t turn into zergs themselves).

This has been suggested and begged for pretty much since day 1 so I have a feeling it is for some reason more difficult to do than we imagine. At this point any changes they can make in increase the commander functionality will be appreciated as it is not much more than a blue dorito on the map right now.
