[Suggestions] WvW transfer for one character
You can already transfer servers. I dont get this.
Probably will not work because account information is stored in one of 2 places, a data center in Texas for the NA servers and a data center in Germany for the EU servers. These data centers are separate. The EU one doesn’t have NA account information, and vice versa. The way it’s currently set up you can’t have a char on one data center and the rest of your chars on the other.
ANet may give it to you.
Not possible, and somewhat confusing. What do you mean by ‘WvW’ server? The character would only be able to participate in WvW? If not, why the ‘WvW’ designation?
Let me see if I understand it correctly…Lets say for example you have two toons, a warrior and guardian. You want to play your warrior on an NA server like TC, and play with your guard on an EU server like SFR?
Honesty is not insulting, stupidity is.
>Class Balance is a Joke<
This is a great idea. Anet could limit classes transferring to certain servers.
Low population servers would only get the most desired WvW classes..
Full servers would only get the least desired WvW classes.
Better yet, Full servers get to have only a small number of certain classes on any map.
BG and Mag would be full of blobs of the least desired classes.
Balance in our time.
Your post is a little confusing so could you please clarify. Are you talking about only being able to move from NA to EU servers and vice versa? I hope so. If not, think how badly this would be abused. Free accounts were bad enough. Now you are making it even easier for someone to jump on his toon on the enemy server and report back to his primary server what is happening. Didn’t the neckbeards who log on alts and waste supply in enemy keeps teach us anything.
So server affiliation would be character bound instead of account bound. I like it. Its not as if spying or trolling will ever stop, honestly sabotage only matters to PPT fanatics.
I don’t expect ncsoft to do anything about WvW tho. They only bought anet for the pve revenue.
