Guild Wars 2

Hello. My guild, Aeterna (as a note I am not one of the leaders, just a fanboi), is a primarily WvW guild based on Ferguson’s Crossing. We’re fairly small and compact, and have a pretty active core of members who are all friends and are good at teamwork.

Ferguson’s Crossing S-U-C-K-S at WvW. Frankly at times I am amazed that Kaineng is below us. Although there are a few other WvW guilds on here, they never seem to field organized groups of players (except after 12 A.M. EST, when we seem to suddenly zerg and take everything) nor does the mass of zergers seem to have any common sense (not that they’re expected to).

While some of it may very well just be population, the fact remains that many of my guild-mates, all of them fans of WvW, try to avoid entering the battlegrounds, claiming that it would be futile to do so. Most of the time, they’re right.

So. I’m looking for suggestions for a new server for the guild to transfer too. We’re not looking for a handout server where we just piggyback on the bigger WvW guilds- we want a server where we can have an actual challenge; one where we can make a significant difference.

Preferably (this is just my opinion) it shouldn’t have HUGE queue times 24/7, and it would also be nice if it has a few WvW guilds we can team up and coordinate with (again, we don’t want a free ride).

Any suggestions are appreciated!

If you are looking for a decent server for WvW Crystal Desert is only 9th in total ranks at the moment and winning our current match and it is a really good fight so far, very close between us and Blackgate. We also have the Synergy Alliance if you are interested in that as well, and queue times are normally not more than an hour that I’ve seen, and we have a fair oceanic presence as well to hold the fort overnight.

Don’t come to the Isle of Janthir. They have us pinned. It is a pointless game at this time. Until they at least stop server tranfers.

Come to Tarnished Coast if you want. We may be the unofficial RP server, but we’ve been holding our own. In the Points Ranking we’re smack dab in the middle, not too high (So we don’t have hours of queues) and not too low (So we’re not trashed by everything). A little boost could help.

Especially now, facing against the goons in Dragonbrand.

If you want, Northern Shiverpeaks is still recovering from the mass exodus of people since the Ascension Alliance left. We’re in the bottom of the barrel in the ranks thanks to the exodus but, things are looking up. We’ve been winning again and in our current matchup, we’re dominating the other two servers – Kaineng and Devona’s Rest.

We were a medium pop now turned into a high pop.

If you want a challenge to reach to the top (again), Northern Shiverpeaks may be for you. On top of that, Little to no WvW queues.

Biased mode aside, If you really want a challenge, Kaineng really needs help. I say that not even coming from that server. Feel bad for those folks everytime we face them. Everytime I’ve seen Kaineng, they’re always turtling because they have no numbers to attack lol.

Good riddance, we don’t really want you on Ferg anyway. That attitude isn’t going to help us win. Get in there with your guild and help lead our disorganized mob around. Why would you leave seeking an actual challenge? Have you seen our stats?! We need help and it is challenging. Loser attitude. Do not want.

Does your guild know you’re doing them a disservice at the moment.

Only come to TC though if you can fit in with Role-Players. It’s not really fair to the community if you don’t contribute on that side of things.

Also, with most servers close to cap, you are possibly taking up the slot of actual role-players.

Well Sea of Sorrows is always a good place. We are getting stomped currently along with Isle of Janthir but thats because EredonTerrace did a dodgy to verse us.

Finally got some kind of union / alliance set up with most the decent WvWvW guilds. Need more non oceanic guilds tho

I personally don’t understand the perception people hold about Eredon Terrace doing a “dodgy” to face lower ranked servers. I mean…you were there the night before one week matches started. Do you honestly think we didn’t put our best into that match up between Sea of Sorrows, Blackgate, and ourselves? I do not remember the exact scores but it ended not to much better than our current matchup. People were excited in map chat to face Hendge before the servers reset. To our disappointment we got stuck in a lower ranked matchup. I truely hope Sea of Sorrows can get something going. It would make it more fun for all sides. Good luck!

Personally, I have no idea why anyone chooses the top one. So your server sucks at WvW. At least you can play. The only thing worse than being camped at your spawn is not being able to play because every world has a 1-hour+ queue.

Darkhaven needs bodies. Most of the day there is no queue for W3 because we dont even have enough people to fill the battlegrounds.

never understood that too. We had a big lead over BG and SoS so I didn’t think we were not going to get HoD. Only way we were not going to, was if HoD, JQ and SB were really close in terms of their final score. I remember a 24 hr match where none of the three were moved because of the close proximity of their scores.

Don’t abandon your server just cause they aren’t doing good. You should stick with it and try and work with the other guilds/players to improve. Ferg is doing pretty bad right now against us and with you guys leaving isn’t going to help them.
