Hi Anet , the Dev team and players,
I’m here to suggest change and improvement in WvW meta and gameplay.
Most of regular players of WvW are quite exhausted about the current condition of WvW Worlds , Condition damage meta and no challenge in this gamemode.
With servers linkage, we lost our server spirit, with no league tournament so no goal to reach no reward to earn, condition damage are over effecient and destroy all other possibility to play.
We need more often information and news about the futur of server linkage etc…
We are like candles , our flame (desire to play) is dying if we havent content which maintain our flame.
SERVER POPULATION AND LINKAGE
First, i would bring idea which may resolve the issues of migration rate and population between servers.
Servers linkage would not change this issue because people will always migrate on very high or full population server ( on linked server ) and still stack on theses servers for few months
1th Option : stop servers linkage, Close very High and full population server. and give 1 free ticket for players that are on it, to migrate on low population server. This operation would stay over 1 month. After this, make a WvW tournament with reward to assist recreation server spirit. It is more likely a redistribution of player on servers.
2th option : as one of anet suggestion , close all servers , recreate from scratch servers and give people possibility to migrate on it. I think make a new WvW tournament will bring interest for people to play in this gamemode.
WvW tournament give always us a reason to play as a server.
Summer and Winter tournament would have been nice.
WvW meta and Balance
Actually for most of regular player in WvW ,it s painful to play against condition damage
I know that condition damage is really useful on PvE but in WvW , we’re not NPC with 40K+ hp
Actually most condition is more efficient than power damage ,because there is many way to reduce direct damage(armor , buff, nourishment, skills, dodge) and to play direct damage, you need to increase 3 stats (power , precision and ferocity) to have a effective increase of damage instead of defensive stats.
However with condition damage , you cant reduce damage, with only exception with 1 nourrishment (mussels) (5%) and one special buff from rev (dwarf stance) , your only way is to be on resistance ( too few to have this buff and duration is too short) or clear it but all skill has Cooldown CD on it and conditions are easily spammable however condition clean has heavy CD.
With condition build, You can build with defensive armor stats (toughness, vitality) and only one offensive statistique (condition damage) and have an build/stuff which counter totally direct damage build/stuff.
As exemple in WvW when you fight a group of player (20+), you are perma with condition and often conditions reachs more than 40+ stack of blood with duration over 10 sec. There is too much dead by conditions.
Condition damage should be adapted to the gamemode not being set up for one gamemode and destroy others (people were/are still crying about epidemic on necro)
That why i propose few change that will balance (not ultra nerf) condition damage and bring us possibility to play zerk without being totally counter.
1th option :
- implement a new stats as ferocity on condition damage.
- Reduce basis condition duration and damage , but increase the efficiency with condition stats (condition damage and expertise).
- Rework reduction condition duration runes,sigils and food, as melandru , hoelbrak , poultry food (20% =>40% on food, same on runes).
2th option :
- adapt protection (buff) and armor (toughness) with condition damage reduction.
- set a limitation of number of condition stack on player. (like 25 stacks).

Player INTERACTION
One of the best thing of GW2 is combo field and area with other classes.
Actually in GW2 especially in WvW, its not rewardful to play with theses combo area and its more efficient to play with self skill.
I think theses types of interaction between players is a gold mine. It needs to be more rewardfull to blast a waterfield for urself and allies instead of direct heal skill, because you need to have a synergie between allies to complete thoses combo area.
