Hello, I’ve been playing Guild wars 2 since the sec betaweekend. however enough about me, who actually cares who I am? I’m just the general Guild Wars 2 player who does everything that pleases me.

However, I’ve a concern about WvW, about reasons to actually go there.
There where talk about WvW, about Capturing points to grant your world benefits, however, why not integrate those point to the whole server?

Like if you capture Stonemist Keep, the PvE world gets a MF boost, PvP gets Rankpoint boosts, etc.

This system would make players feel that the WvW is more relevant to play in, like tbh, have you once thought about WHY you’re fighting the other servers?

This is just one idea from me, if this has been posted once already, I’m sorry. but please, come up with your ideas on how to make WvW a more populated place

Meh i don’t care about mf boost or rank point boost. WWW needs some kind of real progression. Gear and weapon skin sets foe example (if you have killed 500k enemies you should have cooler gear than some PvE farmer), special prices match up top players and guilds and so on. Match-up statistics so players can see who have killed lot’s of enemies, which guild have capped lot’s of keeps for example.

One good idea would be forget PPT and make servers fight for resources.

even if you ignore the massive performance issues this would bring, the griefing possible with body blocking would render the game completely unplayable.

A few suggestions

  • CDI acknowledged suggestion #1 – Implement an incentive to attack whichever server has highest score (at any given time)
  • CDI acknowledged suggestion #2 – Spread the cost of building things across all owned structures, so the more you own, the weaker each individual objective is. Each side has a set total power (same for each side) and as they gain/lose things, that power is spread more thinly/concentrated respectively.
  • Make binding roots a purgeable condition or stun-breakable.
  • Walls and doors need to be MUCH stronger. The easy availability of Skill Points has resulted in masses of Superior Siege, combined with Rank Ability powercreep they have effectively made walls and doors much weaker than they were originally.
  • Waypoints need to be looked at – while essential for mounting defences, they are also a huge bonus for those who are dominating on multiple maps – any further suggestions on this topic most welcome.
  • Make Upgrades cost Badges of Honour instead of gold. Paying for upgrades with gold means I don’t pay for upgrades. /salute to those who do.
Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.

It’s just a joke. Wouldn’t be much fun when tanky characters start blocking teammates from getting into towers/keeps
