The last few days I’ve noticed that the sup’s RI lasts about thirty seconds longer than the camp is ‘protected from capture’, so it is actually about 5:30 after it is flipped before you can flip it back. I feel like in the past those two timers were in sync and it’s just recently that they’ve become decoupled. Does anyone know if this is a bug or an intentional change . . ?

Pretty sure it’s a bug. I can confirm it just started happening recently.

Seen it happen too. Was hovering my mouse over camp saying no RI but lord still had about 20sec on it.

Yeah, I’ve seen the same. Haven’t submitted a bug report yet, though. That’s supposedly the best path to getting these things fixed.

i think the RI is actually 5 minutes but the timer for the info when hovering over the camp icon starts at ~4:30 already when the camp is flipped

Very much doubt it.

Was with a guildie this morning and he complained that the timers where ~30s out of sync… So we checked it out. Had him look at the south camp timer and while I saw it was 2:15, his reply was… 2:45.

So still wacky. Not exactly lag since there was literally no one there (when I joined the border, his outmanned went away so presumably I added 100% to friendly force numbers, lol). I assume this is a matter of playing a while and the client goes out of sync with repeated caps/recaps.

While you are ‘looking’ at WvW times, please note that the NPCs from camps in EBG will respawn over and over and over and disappear at the most inconvenient time even when running with them or fighting with them.

WvW times are wrong – for example, six seconds in WvW isn’t six seconds by any clock I’ve ever seen.

About this behaviour (not new > 2 months) … I’ve noticed that unlike the daily timer or the RI timer show for lord, the timer displayed on camps/tower icons on mini map is related to the clock of your computer. Try to change the PC timer and you will see a change on timer displayed on mini map’ icons ….
