Some good suggestions there. I have some improvements or additions to your suggestions though.
Suggestion 1 – A good suggestion and nothing to add here really.
Suggestion 2 – Another good suggestion, but instead of having it merely as a form of map transport it could have a more tactical use. There could be a large battle ship floating in the lake, maybe moving around, that players can fight over for control. Once controlled the ship could fire its cannons at certain locations, or provide the controlling server with long range rockets they could fire at nearby towers and keeps.
Suggestion 3 – I like the idea of changing the terrain. To expand on this the terrain changes could be quite dramatic and also different on each map. So for example, an earthquake could hit on one map ripping a large canyon across a portion of the map, while on another a blizzard could strike causing massive snow drifts to reshape the landscape in a different area. These changes could happen every couple of weeks in a sort of WvW LS type content update.
Suggestion 4 – I also like this idea. Not only could there be seasonal changes to the map but there could be associated weather conditions as well. In winter there could be occasional snow storms, reducing visibility and occasionally inflicting Chill. There could be thunder storms that hit random players for some damage. Intense heat waves that have a chance to cause burning. There is room for all sorts of thematic changes, even themed changes that coincide with the LS content. For example, with the current Living Story there could be Mordrem attacks effecting supply chains.
I am happy to see Anet creating a lot of content for PvE in the form of the Living Story content, but WvW really needs more attention, as does sPvP also. I would love to see similar bi-weekly, or even monthly, content added for WvW. Even temporary events, terrain changes, activities and other content would be great and keep things fresh and interesting.
Permanent content, such as improvements to world rankings and match ups and additional activities would be great, and are needed, but I feel it would also be good to see regular, if not as frequent, LS style content updates for WvW. The new Silverwastes events show what could be added to WvW. Events to load up Dolyaks to speed up the supply chain, monsters attacking dolyaks along their path to encourage players to escort them, monster attacks against towers to spice things up a bit.
There is so much potential in WvW and it sometimes makes me sad that this potential is being wasted. Hopefully Anet can implement changes soon, as it seems to me more and more players are getting frustrated and restless.
We can post as many ideas, cool or not, as we want.
We can have as many mods and devs post on here that the ideas are great and will pass them on.
But, what we really need are the devs to actually do something for WvW!
Siege disablers, commander tags (which are general not just WvW), masteries, account bound WXP are just Quality of Life improvements, they are not content updates!
WvW needs new content!
But again we end up at Step 1, we can post what content we want, but the devs actually have to add that content!
Allow players to deposit supply in towers to help with upgrades.

Yup, I think I am neaing 5,000 hours, around 4,500+ are just in WvW.
WvW is all I really play, I might pop into LS every now and again, but WvW is what I am interested in; and as you can see others spend more time in WvW.
And yet what do we get? We cant use our toys because it upsets the unbalanced “balance” in WvW, no gem items for WvW use, no new content, maps; just some QoL stuff, and they expect us to be happy about this when PvE is getting things every two weeks?!
Call me crazy but that seems like discrimination/neglect of a game mode.
I do like the boat idea, but use it as a base to siege all the towers, players can treb/mortar bay, hills, garri, lake and briar.
But then again, if such a thing is put in, the larger zerg server will have even greater dominance really.
Wouldn’t ruin the boat idea by covering it in siege. Just a cool boat that you can travel on. Siege on a boat would be massively stupid.
Super cool boat is not super cool when you have a boat cannoning your open field fights against other guilds.
