A severe and unwarranted advantage… but they are really good if you are “left” team for the week. Needless to say the roaming will not be occuring on that side of the map.
They also die pretty easily, but this is actually what i like about EotM.
Its not a balanced map, each side gets their own special things and when you fight that colour on their home turf they get a benefit. For example, the Frost guys thing is that invaders get a 30% movement debuff. Thats a pretty big deal too.
Not sure what the overgrown get, the free passive condition removal? And yah the Badlands guys get the auto-turrets.
Each side also has special transformations that are easiest to acquire for the side they spawn on.
Not to mention different layouts.

Yeah I see where Anet thought it would be cool and everyone would love them but after getting 2 shotted more than once by them they’ve lost their charm.

They’d be ok if they didn’t shoot quite so much. As it is, it’s pretty much impossible to do anything when you’re getting shot at.
Well, that’s a slight exaggeration, but still.

I think they should decrease the rate of fire.
agreed, rate of fire is way too fast, especially considering how big the radius is.

Either remove the knock back or reduce the rate of fire and they’d be perfectly fine. Good thing they’re very easy to kill though.

Just destroy them like any other enemy reinforcement. You all know how to kill siege. The turrets can’t fire as fast as a human.
