What happened? lately it looks like TC’s population has bloated and BG has been vastly underpopulated..considering how it used to be anyways.

To put it shortly, all of the NA WvW guilds have been reduced to four or five diffrent guilds, SEA/OCX have been the ones keeping BG up in T1, and one, [asc] has been kindly commanding during EST daytimes. It’s probably why you see a little BG in WvW and most likely why I will probably consider leaving the server.

Quite a few people were part of ET, BG lost people/other guilds when the servers were split. TC is also open atm, so the people who were on the paired server were able to join TC. Meaning that atm, TC likely has more active players, (and a kittening motivated EU)

Combine that with BG/TC focusing on YB at the start of the week, with TC shifting to full on focus on BG later in the week. Both servers had kinda agreed that YB was horrible to have in the tier, so had a sort of unofficial focus on them. TC realized they could actually win the week, so started going all in on BG. BG responded, leaving BG/TC to fight, while YB silently ppted off to the side. And here we are.
With YB still in T1. Yay….

Also BG seems to be a little more bored atm than TC is, due to a combination of factors, including the stacking we had, no fights in certain times, siege, YB groups running away, etc

It is called Hibergate for a reason. It is likely a chunk of their population has moved off to other pastures for a while. If something big happens that sleeping giant will likely wake right back up.

BG is full, TC isn’t. TC still can get more players in while BG has no way to replace their inactive players. Still, BG will continue to be full due to casual WvWers and not due to core WvWers. That is the issue with stacked server.

BG is getting bored again and TC is doing huge overtime apparently.

Anet don’t get tricked by BG. No matter what it looks like in the data, BG is super stacked and should remain at Full. Don’t let their hibernating fool you.

DB cant get up here fast enough. And also please stop complaining about BG being super stacked when TC has blobs running all day especially during EU, and not just this week. Not enough ktraining on TC or something?

The first week TC wins and we’re already starting with “they have way more than BG”? It’s a miracle that there are still players remaining at all after blobgate bored kitten near everyone away from the game. Without their BG blob numbers they simply can’t fight worth a kitten. Blobby, but not enough to prop up a secured win. Oh well, the wagon gate had to be broken sooner or later. Couldn’t have happened soon enough. Unfortunately BG gained a ton of padding from their wagon so we’re still stuck with them.

Without a blob to provide a crutch PPT win, I expect the “hibernation” excuse going into full use now.

These posts are pointless. TC was hungry for a win and they played their butts off to get it. The week after a win streak ends tends to be pretty exciting though so lets hope for that.

Bandwagon lost it’s wheels when it got unlinked with its paired up server. Now it’s equal numbers for both servers and BG lost.

I don’t understand, only 10k difference in score. o.o That’s an improvement over the 60k-90k leads in the past.

TBH, I think BG SEA got bored and took a break/moved off. Going into the EU timezone, TC has less work to do cleaning up the ppt made by BG’s Sea t3-ing everything.

Gratz to TC on their win. They were clearly fighting hard all week. I’ve been on BG since GW2 first came out, and I have to say that BG numbers in WvW were definitely down last week. I don’t know why, but they were.

A lot of us were pulling massive overtime this week. Props to everyone who came out and made this week a great one.

Anyone remember when SoR was the server everyone loved to hate?

Nobody hated SoR. What’s wrong with you? Bad Gate was the hated server most of the time because they always complained about being outnumbered and wanted to fill up their ranks.

You must not have played first year

BG didn’t care to push as hard as TC did. TC groups were pulling insanely long shifts, you could see the same massive group floating around for 10 hours at a time. They really wanted the win and they got it, they did good.

BG did not show up nearly as much, and it is really really boring fighting yb and tc. TC’s map blobs were commanded better than our map blobs this week. BG was still ahead going into Friday, but it was not worth putting in any extra time just to attempt to deny TC a win they really wanted, kind of needed, and definitely deserved.

Hopefully TC didn’t burn out and continues to show up and fight.

TC did everybody a favor by winning. No YB in T1, DB in T1 and an end to BG’s win streak.
