When did this happen? I thought TC didn’t have a large enough crew for this time (7:34 AM EST) to put up enough of a fight for WvW. But the server is full! WTH lol. If this has been the case for some time and I’m just now noticing it, they should be doing better. If only they could recruit more PvE characters to do WvW

There’s a rumor floating around that Blackgate recruits people to go over to TC server and just sit in our BL doing nothing but taking up space. I don’t know if that’s true but it’s a possibility.

We had this problem in Maguuma once until we found the giant botfarm ball that was in the ocean farming krait. I don’t really care about botters, but botters occupying my queue space makes me want to hack a gibson to stop it.

Well the issue is the server itself is full. Unless theres a bunch of PvE early morning players, I don’t see how that changed all of a sudden

At certain times the server has been full since launch. There’s been threads on GW2roleplay about how to actually time it to get on for some time now.

I really didn’t know that it was a full server because I had no interest in it. I know that rpers typically dont pvp. Its still sad that TC is almost full 24/7 but can’t muster more in WvW at non prime time hours

Well if the server is mostly Americans is it really THAT surprising? And I doubt TC is the only server like that.

Well if the server is mostly Americans is it really THAT surprising? And I doubt TC is the only server like that.

When its full, yeah it is.

How is it surprising? TC is the NA RP server, so lets not even look at the fact that most RPers hate PvP by nature and look at it this way. We have another element that is keeping our players busy and not in WvW, and its called roleplaying. Most servers have a good split of PvE and PvP, TC has Pve, PvP and RP going on at all times. Yes, the server is full, but I have not seen a queue in the last few days of playing in the BL’s and only during primetime is there one for EB.

so, RPers…. tell us your story

I love it when people catagorize RPers as more than the title expects. We like to roleplay. That means nothing more than that. It means that we like to act as though our characters are real people in this world. Does that mean that we don’t like to PvP? Of course not! We may even have some people in our midst that enjoy short walks on the beach, too…

All of you that think that RPers don’t PvP, I would like to extend an offer – bring your best PvPers and we’ll bring ours. Let’s do a sPvP tournament and see how bad us RPers are.

Besides – when did 7th place out of all of the NA servers mean that we were bad? You guys crack me up.

As has been said a few times in this thread a server being full CAN translate to WvW presence and success but there are so many other factors that contradict that and are much more likely, especially given the current state of WvW:

- even those who like WvW are hesitant currently to join in anymore given the current state of WvW and the issues everyone is having with it
- there is a large amount of people who have no interest in PvP and play the game for the PvE aspect
- there is a fair amount of people that don’t care for WvW and prefer only sPvP
- on top of all of that there is a good chance that a large portion is certain time zones (predominately EU or predominately NA) resulting in lack of day presence or lack of night presence which as we all know hinders WvW success

RPers join the RP server to RP. They probably will jump into WvWvW once in a while but you can’t always expect them to do WvWvW full-time. When I run around Divinity’s Reach, I see people standing around and happily making RP conversations in some sort of storyline. I go out into a map where a big dynamic event is happening nearby and people are dying, and you see a group of guys sitting around and talking about the sun god or something.

TC is the NA RP server, and RP comes first for many people.

When is this server not full? Its seems like all the servers that have decent population when I play for anything are all FULL cry
