(TFO) The Fallen Order of Anvil Rock
Honestly Anvil Rock (lol not ANV i mean the server, lol) will become a very nice nest for many other guilds that decide to change servers looking for more coordination to join. Pimpnizzle/Shugknight and I butt heads but we get along, work together, and so far I’ve enjoyed working with jut about every other dude(ette) with a commander tag on the map. Was bummed I couldn’t make the stonemist battle.
Overall, seeing a lot of improvement. Lots of high morale when we get togther and do kitten, given we all realize the whole night-capping thing is out of most of our control, so we have fun where we can, as a server, havin’ good times and good fights.
Thinking about switching servers? /motions this way…

yes us at ANV learned alot too well just one thing Outnumbering us 1to5 = win…
I know its not your guys’ fault that we’re matched up with you. but i play for WvW and nothing else so… i get bored now during the week cuz can’t do anything =( beside rack up my rpr bill
Thanks for the post, Shug.
Yea, I also read lots of negative comments about “TFO zerging” previously. IMO the zerg provide benefit not only to the people zerging but also to the map as a whole. Some people comment negatively on these zerging and flipping camp rapidly, but I notice that without these act, we usually ended up outnumbered.
At the moment, most of the players in Anvil are below 80 thus they want exp. Of the 80’s most haven’t got full Exo gears, thus they want karma. The zerg (or XP train), provide them with both. Without it they usually end up jumping to other map, or do dungeon.
At some point, eventually, people will find that karma is pretty much simply stacking up when you got full exo gears, and 1 skill point per lvling up is not much compared to exploring. At that point, seeing the map painted in your color become more important than simply karma or exp. And then, people will be more willing to defend for hours in certain sites.
So, nothing wrong with zerging for karma and exp. leaving two 80’s at each tower armed with cart will probably make the reflipping far more difficult, though. But yeah, people that’s willing to stand in defense while their other comrades zerging are quite rare, right now.
Beside, the daily matches create somekind of quirk in each guild. TFO for the ability to zerg across EB selecting tower and sieging and flipping it real fast. SOS for it’s ability in fortifying and defending a site. ANV, for its focus in ARB. IMO, we (ANV) spent too much of our time focusing at ARB in beginning matches and too few times in EB, so it gonna take time to learn the field of EB that we are focusing on this match.
Regarding the Castle Mist attack, I can’t say much. I entered the game when the event progress near the end. Organizing an operation with another guild will be more complex than an operation handled by 1 guild. I’m sure it will become smoother as long as we keep trying. Personally, I find working side by side with TFO is far less tiring and more fun than side by side with “the guild that ’s carrying the server”.

I wish you guys would try to attack Borlis Keep. I spent a couple gold building sieges all over the place there just so we could keep that thing. Sure, sometimes Borlis manages to break through, but I’ve got more sieges on the inside just waiting for them. Muahahahahaha. Maybe I should start doing it to Anvil’s keep as well since Borlis seems to have given up.
YEAH! they gave up after back capping us when we were pushing Shivers Keep a few days ago lol. 2nd and 3nd place server should stop trying to fight each other and hard flank the winning server keeps. THAT alone will slow NSP a little.

Would make things more fun on our end. Half the time we have people, myself included, telling others to let them cap something so we have something to do every once in a while.
That’s what goes through my mind when you guys D up towers lol. I’m like, They must not want badges lol. I’ve gotten both of my WvW badge weps and working on my amulet.
I’ve seen a couple of small guilds transfer in, because primarily, we lack drama. We have fun and our teamplay is great. We have good guilds with great dynamics and teamwork, but lack numbers. I’ve held supply camps with 10 people vs 20+ NSP trying to zerg us, just with basic building dances and flanking, and being 3 orbs down.
Hopefully more guilds from higher end servers with queues see that we have a great thing going on here and need numbers, and come join in on the fun.
Having fun fighting TFO right now on NSP map. Bring it!

On every reset I push TFO to take and hold keeps. Hell after this last matchmaking TFO put 30g into holding our side of the map, just to lose everything at 3am. Everyday we try to push NSP and after getting owned by BEEFY towers and Keeps (upgrading overnight)…
I know we take a lot over night, but to be fair, we had Etheron Hills and Dreaming bay upgraded to waypoints by midnight on Friday. We do a good job of protecting supply lines and prioritizing upgrades.

well to be honest radiodread if we had more guilds on AR server instead of TFO, and ANV just being the main body of WvW. and less pugs just doing they’re own sh.T and stop trolling in chat or on forums.. we could be a very promising fight =P…. I mean i sit in LA in AR and i see at least 10+ that bought the commander book and never see them in WvW ANV just got there first commander just yesterday. TFO do an awesome job supporting zergs, upgrading, defend siege, pretty much what this server needs! Just wish we had enough manpower or less 12 yr olds running around asking where the freakin’ jump puzzle is… and placing random trebs and crap in stupid places.
Enjoy the time now Northern Shiverpeaks with 2 matches with us and a finally score 5-6 times Anvil Rock. Once GW2 updates the matching you will go against stacked servers such as Yaks bend. Players are ignoring the WvW as it is a joke against any Stacked Servers.
I look forward to losing, honestly.

Losing is fun. We currently have so much siege in the NSP jump puzzle, it’s hilarious.
So we’ve heard, Rusty, lol.

From a single player of WvW from my guild I get really tired of dropping siege and trying to build upgrades while watching people not only not assist in building siege but also taking supply out of the tower I upgrade. Anyone that has run with me knows I always carry siege and am happy to do my small part to assist any groups I may be in. I have dropped 6-7 rams a run while in a group where other members aren’t even willing to drop supply to build them. When I run with ANV, which I do on occasion now, the groups at least help on the builds, but believe me when I have to run to a supply I just capped 4 or 5 times because I am apparently the only person in a group that even understands that you need supply to build siege, it gets old. I’ve dropped 5 gold at a time to upgrade supply camps and towers, and build siege. As a solo player, it is a costly process. I do it and try and teach newer WvW players what needs to be done to succeed. I feel your pain TFO, ANV, and any other organized groups out there. Willing to bet I placed more siege at Quentin the other day than a good percentage of folks on our server have ever dropped the entire time they have been on the map.
