You should feel ashamed about what u did this night to FSP!

Making mutliple Omega Golems to attack our keep is one thing, but spawncamping at our only spawnpoint when Keep is under attack by you, is rly discraceful! You guys were 10 on 1 and still needed to spawncamp?? Waiting with +20 at our only spawnpoint when we were with.. Idk 15 max and having +30 at our keep with those Golems?

I mean, we almost didn’t had the chance to defend ourselves (since we couldn’t reach our keep no more) BUT we still kicked your kitten and laughed rly hard later on.. But you rly stressed me out since I’m a new commander but take note; I learned alot about your way of working and tell this to all commanders so better be rdy for the more better commanders of our server.. So u can loose for a second time in a row

Really, u should crawl back from where u came from since u lost all our golems and ran away and loose to a 15 grp with your +50 zerg + omega golems..

Many ppl of our server are rly kitten off and.. U made yourself a new target, be sure about that.. U guys were already last place this week, we’ll make sure u end up there again, no matter what!
You have my word, spawncampers.. Go play CoD or something..

There’s three exits from the spawn points, learn to use them.

Cutting off enemy reinforcements, looks like a valid tactic to me.

AM must still be mad because they ended up 3rd last week XD. AM has always been strong during the reset, running multiple blobs of doom on all the maps. Fortunately they run out of steam quite fast. FSP on the other hand needs some time to warm up and usually does better later on in the week.

And yes, a spawn has three exits, use them instead of whining about a blocking party here. Blocking the enemy spawn to stop reinforcements and demoralizing the players is very effective and we also use it. The hardcore WvW players may stay but the pugs usually leave after a few wipes = battle half won.

While I can understand the point of view that it is a valid, and even preferred, tactic to block your opposition, it doesn’t stop me from feeling that it shows a lack of sportsmanship.
In the past, when some on FSP have used this ‘tactic’ (I seem to recall incidents against GH and Underworld), I changed maps because I find spawn camping to be pretty loathsome. Let’s be honest, if you’re in a position so strong that you can attack or capture an opponent’s keep, you should be able to defend yourselves without resorting to this kind of nonsense.

Perhaps I’m too English, perhaps I’m just unusual, but I would rather lose with honour than win in shame. Sadly, you don’t have to read through too many of the threads here to wonder if this generation of gamers sees ‘honour’ as an outdated concept

Well we aren’t “mad”. It was a close match anyway and we lost cause we didn’t push enough at the end of the week. And yes reset is a big thing for us. The reason why we run out of fuel quite fast is because reset starts here in germany around 1 a.m. for the last weeks and since summertime 2 weeks ago it starts at 2 a.m. so it’s quit hard for us to push a lot after some time. As mentioned above if you get spawncamped by any enemy just use the other exits. Nearly no server can camp 3 exits all the time. Oh and we aren’t afraid of you. We are afraid of Jade Sea because we played for 6 weeks against them when they started to rise. You just don’t have any idea how bad THAT was>.<. 50-60 Jade at night against 10-15 of us on a weekend and even less on normal days. Day was bad too. So no we aren’t afraid:)
