In some areas of WvW when you try to click enemies, all you get are yellow walls / siege. So to use the alternative TAB targeting, it still targets the yellow objects instead of red enemies.

Could there possibly be a fix for this in the near future with the ability to “prioritize” tab targeting? Like “Do Not Target Yellow Objects”, “Target Nearest Enemy”, etc

Yea, fix please. And fix the camera position to. The camera should be aimed at the head and not the back. The sight you get when you are casting aoe on klovan is horrible. And it should be so simple for you to fix it.

Yes, please fix how it is working or revert it back pre-patch.

Lol @Baldrick, not everyone just spams 1. We don’t all run GWEN. I play all classes (thief and mesmer less than others though, still not used to them).

Tab targetting should be prior to RED enemies (guards/scouts etc included) and not the walls or neutral fire flies hanging around camps.

Any active Devs can acknowledge this as an issue please.

Actually, this new TAB option is useful in the Castle where mezmers hide. For this reason I like the TAB option, however, I think there should be an option to toggle between the NEW TAB and the OLD TAB.

What we want is the following:

*When you press TAB: target ENEMY PLAYERS ONLY, we do not want a moa, a wall, or a deer targeted.

If we press TAB allow us to choose from an option menu if we want:

• To target all enemies
• To target only WvW enemies
• To target only walls.

How hard can this be?

The new system seems to target the closest target in any direction.

This is incredibly frustrating as you may have an enemy in your sights at 900 units and it decides to target the moa at 600 units behind you.

Please have it target enemy players only, as well as prioritise enemies in your FOV.

The closest? not really. When I was on my mesmer yesterday every time pressed tab it selected some enemy on the other side of the group and not the enemy who was just in front of me (the one who is trying to kill me), then the guards, then some other stuff and so on. It’s quite annoying.

I main a support ele, sometimes a ranger, occasionally guardian. Have played all classes.

Maybe next time I need to use /sarcasm so you people get it…

The targetting system is awful. It frequently tabs to an enemy outside my range when there are 30 people closer in front of me..
