More than one tag on the field of EoTM fighting for followers. Fighting with each other and calling each other names in chat. I seem to get this a lot lately. Is this normal for gw2 or a new problem?

Some people like to command. It makes them feel important (sometimes for good reason, sometimes not). Even leading a ktrain around can be a big ego-boost. And folks get real defensive about their egos.

GW2 is not a sanctuary. Humans gonna be human.

Pretty much the type of environment champ bag farmers bring with them where ever they go.

I very rarely get a troll tag, for the most part people respect other people’s tag. On the extremely rare occasion I do get a troll tag I ask them to tag down, if they don’t I wish everyone luck with the guy and tag down myself to avoid the drama.

As I said it almost never happens though. You get some red tags when someone wants to lead people from spawn to your location, and sometimes you get people tagging up defending a keep or a tower, but never really someone who will just tag up and try to get the main zerg to him.

i dont understand how there is people who takes EoTm like something serious

If I were to go to EoTm, id prob do something fun like ask for all the uplevels on me and have the full 80 group go with another tag, have our uplevel group go into the enemy zerg and let the 80 group flank the enemy backline while we’re downed or dead…perfect bait. Idk if this idea would be brilliant or evil as I never go to EoTm these days.

You don’t need to do this, really.

Just get a few of your level 80 folks with real gear and some basic PvP skill to push in. Couple of hammer stuns, a well or two, anything really. EotM blobs just melt when faced with any kind of concentrated pressure. And they tend to be so sparse and uncoordinated that you can “crowdsurf” even in full-zerk cloth armor.

In EOTM it’s normal, especially if you get into one of the instances where VotM are on.

This guild is spread over several servers, and have made karma training EOTM into an actually train.
They have commanders on all 3 colours who are all on the same TS and parties so they know where they all are. They then simple go round and round in a circle making sure they never run into each other or catch up to each other.
They are all about capping towers for karma and champion loot bags.

This is why no real WvW player considers EOTM to be WvW. It’s a farce of a map.
So if you tag up you disrupt this karma train and they get annoyed.

If you are in a bad WvW matchup, going to EOTM is fun to ruin these karma trains. Reading all the comments of why are you tagged up, you are ruining our karma train, go back to WvW; it’s hilarious!

That is perfectly fine. You are not required to comprehend why certain players enjoy certain aspects. It is possible there are aspects you may enjoy that others do not comprehend either.

If your choosing to disrupt the karma train for your entertainment, as long as you are not breaking any actual rules, it is as valid as any other experience for fun.
