After weeks of trying to make SF work we are unhappy with the servers motivation to WvW, we spoke about transferring a few weeks ago and have now concluded that SF is not the place for our WvW focused guild. We are looking for a new home with more WvW oriented guilds, our guilds peak time bracket is from 5pm pacific to 11pm pacific, A serious NA WvW server with no que is preferred.

Well there is Kaineng, or Fergeson’s crossing. we are at the bottom, but that’s overall server population. and you won’t get “bandwagoned” if you come down the ranks. I’m pretty sure both servers have no queue times for the most part… if any only on one map during peak hours.

You can check out Sanctum of Rall. We have many great NA guild’s and the queu isn’t bad at all.

You could also check out Jade Quarry we are Tier 1. We have lots of coverage across many timezones but you would definitely fit right in with our other major guilds. We have a community site and a great server wide VOIP. If you want to talk you can also message me in game @ Immortal Stei. I’m one of the PST commanders so I can definitely shed some light on the coverage and anything that you have any questions on. We would love to have you

Blackgate would gladly take you guys. We are actually lacking on N/A guilds because of the people who bandwagoned to either SoS, SBI or JQ. Blackgate is all about the WvW, even if we are out manned we fight and never give up, hence our nickname “Beastgate” We also have a community site and a 1000 slot mumble for all Blackgate users. Whatever server you choose, good luck to you guys!

Jade Quarry would LOVE to have you! We have been in tier 1 longer than any other server and take pride in a incredibly strong server community. We also refuse to use tactics in wvw that involve hacking, spying, or anything else like that. If you would like any more information feel free to mail me or send me an in game tell!

(We also have a dedicated TS server that has channels for all JQ’s registered guilds whether for pve, wvw, or just chillin!)

Then Crystal Desert will be a perfect server for you. There are not much of a queue for your time as we do not have much of NA WvW guilds right now. Our WvW status currently are more towards the Oceanic time and the lack of NA guilds has been the reason why we are falling back slowly.

We are also equipped with a TS3 server that is used by the server alliance to coordinate stuff between guilds.

If you looking for challenge join Aurora Glade we are always outmanned but never outgunned.

5PM to 11PM pacific is almost no queue times for SoR. It’s a good option. Also, the later it gets, the lower the amount. Especially lately I’ve been having 0 – 5m queues at worst. The only exception is the WvW reset, the queue can be annoying.

despite obviously feeling saddened by the loss of clearly our largest wvw guild, i do want to say thanks to you guys for all the efforts you made through thick and thin and i wish you well on whatever server you go to.

TG put a lot of effort into SF WvW. They are about the only guild/commanders that would be out there just as strong when we were losing as when we were wining. You would think that would earn them a tiny bit of respect from the player base, or at least the sense to shut up and wish them well.

I do not agree with the move, I think dumb and frustrating people are on every server, and while SF is full of those types of people, it also has a lot of good folks too. The trick in my opinion is never try and lead in our home borderland. Most of those people are there because someone at the group home wrote a script that helps them go to that zone.

We would love to have you guys in Fort Aspenwood.

As a former member of the Devona’s Rest server, I would not recommend going there. While they are in the bottom bracket, they are the “winning” server at the time being and will be moving up. They’re filled with trolls now and a lot of puffy chests and too see for anyone’s self all you have to do is to look at their match forum post for this week.

If looking at the bottom bracket, I’d highly recommend Ferg’s Crossing. From last I knew they had a highly active WvW period for the times you’ve listed as desired.

As with all other that have posted. I didn’t see anyone from Anvil Rock post (my new server). We’re losing to more WvW population during those hours listed as well as during the 6am-12pm EST time slot. There’s no queue’s except after server match reset and usually only for EB or the home BL, but never at the same time.

As with decision, every server has DINK’s on them, and pros and cons. Ultimately just go where you think you can make a change to the server’s morale, not to the “winning” server that has puffy chest syndrome. Making a change to the way a server handles WvW will go a lot further than just being stuck on the coat tails of a server already “winning”.

Feel free to try Maguuma. Almost never a queue and great organization and tactics. Public mumble and superb commanders and people.

Known as the honey badger server because we fight hard no matter who we fight and we always have fun.

I would say your best is CD. They have an awesome offpeak zerg but lack the staying power in primetime which appears to be when you play.

Alternatively you could try TC or my own server of YB. All good choices

CD is only a good choice if you enjoy a no tactic zerg. They ride tier 4 or so because of the huge Asian pop not because they play smart.

Besides terror was looking for an organized N.A. primetime server not to ride the coattails of a pvd Asian zerg.

Our beginning was rough. Our first matchup was against Jade Quarry, which we now know is a Tier 1 server. We lost many people that week… those weeks. Then we were matched up against Sanctum of Rall. A plethora of hackers decimated us and Ehmry Bay, plummeting us further down in tiers and as consequence, lost even more people. We were up against Kaineng for Pete’s sake!

But those who remained never lost hope. We kept fighting. Tier 8. Tier 7. Tier 6. Tier 5.

Now we’re at Tier 4… and we need help. We keep getting matched up against a pubstomp server like Aspenwood or Crystal Desert. You know, the ones that keep talking about how desperate they are for help.

Darkhaven’s population is amazing. Even when outmanned, all of our players are located together, trying to fight for the same goal. What we need now more than ever are people that can make a difference and help us continue to rise. We were tier 8. We’ve come too far to give up now.

No queues usually inspite of what people say. Eternal bg can really use a pvp guild to run things. We have pvp guild coverage on most borders. Just can really use another good sized for eternal and occasional opposition borderland sweeps

I disagree heavily, maybe the top tier servers are like that, but the lower brackets could care less, they enjoy good fights, who cares about who is winning at 4am? If winning is all that matters, then kaineg isn’t for you. Fun first and foremost, if we win through our result of it, then props to us, but winning has never been a priority. We show up mainly during prime time of 6pm-12am EST. If you really want a challenge and like uphill battles, go to ferguson crossing. I will let you know though it’s more like a uphill mountain, they’re seriously outmanned, even more than Kaineg, so don’t expect to win in Kaineg/Fergusen crossing, if you just enjoy challenging battles, these 2 servers are for you, as both has decent sized focused wvw guilds.

Imo all the pvp guils should move to the top six servers. Then anet can add a new map like eternal

Depends on what you’re looking for. Blackgate’s weakest time isn’t always NA pacific, but we for sure could use some borderland help around the clock. Blackgate has a great community (seriously, I think I’m the biggest jackkitten there and everyone thinks I’m the nicest guy they’ve met in real life). We’re a mature community and work well together. We recently had a guild leave to SoS because they only cared about winning. Blackgate cares about winning for Blackgate and improving as a community.

SoR seems like nice folk as well. They fight well and I haven’t heard anything bad about them. They’re currently against us, but they’ve put up some fun battles.

Overall, I think those two would be your best bet. They’re in T2, but currently aren’t T1 material.

I wouldn’t join JQ however. Not to be trolling, but from what I’ve seen they kind of cower in T1. They seem to like making excuses and even tried to team up with SBI. You’d just be another bandwagon guild in the rest of Guild Wars 2’s communities eyes if you joined them.

You call us cowards because JQ tactically focused on BG during their weak time slots? Any server who is in the top tiers would do the same. We focused on SBI just as much if not more (hard to get a 450 ppt tick without focusing on both sides). You also sorely mistake one persons attempts to that of an entire server. If one person could determine the overall server then a single hacker could ruin a servers reputation. Lastly your last sentence basically states if they join any server but Blackgate or SoR they are a bandwagon (sort of biased isn’t it?). I respect BG they were a very good server and they taught us a lot but you can’t say a server cowers if your server would do the exact same thing that your calling cowardly. If we hadn’t taken your points SBI would have taken them its just that simple. SoR is also a great server as you stated I respect TW and their crew (only one’s I really know there as we haven’t fought them and TW was originally from JQ). I hope Terror finds what they are looking for regardless of where they go and I wish them the best of luck.

I would highly recommend checking out Ehmry Bay. While we have a Friday presence second to none of any server, we definitely need more WvW dedicated guilds to continue it into the rest of the week.

Sounds like you guys would fit right in on Isle Of Janthir.

If you want to join a server that keeps on punching, has some solid commanders and has maintained a consistent ranking despite the pesky PvE, Transfer-a-thon and other shenanaghins then there is only one place for you.

Thanks to those of you that would welcome Terror to their servers right now we are discussing in guild which server we will be calling our new home. When Monday rolls around we will begin moving the guild.

Maguuma or Darkhaven. Tier 4 is always going to have one zerg server and we’re the other two servers that will be matched up against it. Both of these servers need to round out their population a bit so we get 4 tiers of well-matched servers.

Speaking as a Mag player, Darkhaven seems to play like a bunch of silly fish so if you want some real WvW tactics you probably want to go to Maguuma.

Yak attack! Yak’s Bend needs more guilds at that time.

We have a fantastic WvW community and queue times will be non-existent for your time zone. We’re in tier 3-4 so there’s good competition.

try isle of janthir! very good server that would benefit from your NA coverage

LET.IT.GO. Seriously. How long are you gonna cry about getting kicked out of T1? You’ve been whining non-stop in this forum for quite some time. JQ has been in Tier 1 for months, and has been within the top 3 WvW servers since launch. I’m sorry you and Blackgate weren’t as good as you thought you were.

I got an idea; how about SBI and JQ stop provoking Raven’s childish mentality and everyone just lets it go? I think that’s a good idea; seriously this childish crap makes me embarrassed to even be on BG and in KnT.

Tarnished Coast is friendly organized community that is currently in tier 3. Do some research on us and I am sure you will be impressed.

TL; DR

Here at CD our Oceanic primetime is around GMT+8 6pm-2am ( i believe around 3am-11am PST, more or less ) after which everyone goes to sleep. Outside of those time, there is almost no Q at all, and sometimes even on outmanned buff.

CD has strong Oceanic coverage, but we lack NA/EU coverage. You’re most welcome here.

Yaks Bend..we have no queues on our borderlands, save for reset day we might do on EB and our borderland. Our primetime is usually about 11 PM to 3 AM PST so you’ll fit right in. Why pick our server? well two simple reasons: Our server has been moving up in ranks for the past 4 weeks, we have moved up at least 6 spots so our community is constantly improving. Also, we are a server that never gives up, so when you join us expect the same heavy action whether we are winning or losing.

I actually popped in to promote Fergs and Kain as well. Both servers need population and both servers come equipped with good fighting force. Both Kain and Ferg have been brawling it out in the lower tier with DR for some time. Recently the WvW population on DR has exploded taking the competitive feeling out of our smaller, scrappier tier. Both servers are not only in need of a few more good guilds, they are both deserving.

If ever there was a legitimate uphill battle at your feet, waiting for a few more good people to help the cause, this is it. If you are looking to join a match where you are part of something a little bit bigger than making yourself look righteous You are being told by their opposition this is a place to consider.

Fort Aspenwood really needs some reinforcements in NA primetime as it looks like we’re in tier 3 to stay, so yeah, come to Fort Aspenwood!

The good thing about Fort Aspenwood if you choose it is that we have a strong NA crew that could still use a little more people in a Tier 3 fight. Joining us means you don’t have to carry the entire server, but your help will still be appreciated. The addition of a new NA WvW guild won’t upset the balance of Tier 3 either. You could also join Yak’s Bend if you like. Tarnished Coast as well, but keep in mind that they are the RP server. It may not be your thing.

Make sure you pick a winning server. Amirite?
