Dear Anet,

I sincerely thank you for a monthly without dungeons. I believe a lot of WvWers have given up on monthlies and are extremely elated that this one does not include dungeons.

Perhaps giving PvE and WvW folks choices (like the new dailies) in monthlies will help both types of players?

Seriously. Last month I tried to do dungeons but I just couldn’t bring myself to do something I hate for laurels so this month I am much happier that you’re not trying to cram Fractals/Dungeons down my throat with “incentives.”

Thank you for getting more back on track with your mantra of “play how you want” and less with “we will only reward you properly if you’re running dungeons.”

I agree. As someone who has logged close to 1000 hours and has never done one dungeon their should never be any PvE related to Dailys or Monthlies at all. Great work a-net

it is so easy…think salvage, veterans killed, events completed and one other easy thing

I know some choices will make me wince but thank feck for monthlies without those dratted dungeons.

Yeah, the crafting thing is going to be a lame money sink (especially since its green or higher), but otherwise this one is pretty easy.
But I had hoped for something like the dailies (like 9 categories and 5 to choose).

I hate dungeons with a passion, but I found 45 minutes to run CoF path one five times.

Some of us, havent even seen the dungeon’s entrance…….its not about time, its about what ppl like to do.

It is hard to do when your guild doesn’t do PvE, you don’t have many (if any) friends that do PvE, and you’ve never done a dungeon which means pugs are likely to flame / rage you. The only reason most of the dedicated w3 population does achievements is for laurels…for ascended jewelry…that was added to the game to satiate PvE players.

There is no need for sarcasm, we are all adults here.

There’s folks who are on either ends of the pve-wvw spectrum who wouldn’t be dragged into the respective game modes. Just because we are not build that way psychologically.

I seem to recall early monthlies involving WvW kills – equally irritating for those not of the WvW inclination.
