Thanks
I’d also like to add that even though WvW may have problems (I’ll still a noob so I can’t identify many) I’ve had a blast these past for weeks. I only really started to WvW this tourney and solely for the tickets; however, I ended up staying for the awesomeness. Watching groups portal in via hidden mesmer, being in epic siege battles, flanking zergs, pulling all nighters to flip things, hunting for possible thief in keep and just learning this completely different mode of GW2 was mind-blowing :P So now an avid dungeon runner is totally addicted to WvW. So I’d say the tourney has its advantages; and indeed thanks to random kind people explaining the lingo and strategies of WvW has I went along on my merry way lol.
P.s sorry for hijacking your thread a little <3
Thanks from NUDE to you as well! FSP had it rough this season, but we had good times too. Looking forward to going back to where we truly belong down to silver. But playing the big boys was fun and challenging!
Hi,
As I have been playing with Jade Sea during the tournament (Adopt-A-Dev), I would also like to thank all the servers we have played against for offering us great battles and a good challenge. It was really fun.
To me that is an issue with this game; where the players are the ones making the game fun, not the game itself. Once players start leaving, where’s the fun in the game?

Um lol… Isn’t that the case with every MMO – people making the game fun? TBH I wouldn’t want to play any MMORPG alone.
I want to say “thanks”, “danke”, “gracias” to all the players who have invested and have played in this tournament.
Guild Wars 2 is not perfect (scoring, population imbalance) , but the players make it interesting and fun to play.
Personal thanks to players of Baruch Bay, Far Shiverpeaks, Riverside (Flussufer), Kodash, and Elona Reach (Elonafels), to NUDE (FS), dF (FS), TA (Elonafels), ODS (the stealthy guild of hell on Baruch Bay), RED (BB), BORN (BB), MERC (BB).
Respect to Desolation, enduring heavy focus and continuing to fight.
And special thanks to La Estirpe Olvidada [LEO] (BB) and Elona Night Watch [ENW] (Elonafels), for their hard work and all the fights. Respect to their investment and dedication.
This is because all play the game is if it’s fun, in victory or defeat. There were times of frustration, often fun, rage too. But behind each character, there is a player. That’s an MMORPG. And thanks to the opponents that you can play.
P.S.: The ranking is not important, it is the intensity of the games that was the real reward of this tournament.
You are very welcome, my friend

Players add to the fun, and yes they do add the majority of the enjoyment.
But the game must also add it’s own weight in enjoyment, this game doesnt do that properly, in PvE, PvP or WvW.
This thread isn’t about dev & WvW… it’s about the nice fights during this tournament !
And don’t talk like that to our french princess !

She does so much for us, even if she’s kinda alone…
lol You are right. I want to congratulate Piken Square for his great victory in the silver league (legit server in silver league since 6 months).
Really GG, they beat Augury Rock. (Before the league 3 Augury Rock is a server with rank 7 (gold server). But they voted before this league to go down in silver league…)
Good job it’s a great success.
