So, I think you guys have been doing an overall good job in updating WvW as of late. Whether they are good or bad is a matter of a different thread and opinion. The AC fiasco is one that is very bad. You guys upped AC damage, probably because people were being cheap and not upgrading their siege to superior. Now, sup ACs are insane. Fixing culling was a huge step forward, something long overdue, but finally done and actually working. Thanks for that.
One thing that was a very nice surprise is the chest rewards for gaining rankings. This is a nice little bonus, and encourages WvW play. You implemented a way to get ascended items, however, probably not in the way that a lot of people wanted or were looking for.
There are a couple things in this last patch that are serious issues, however. I just didn’t want to make a thread with only negative criticism and wanted your people to understand that I see you guys putting an effort forward. So, anyway, the serious issues: obviously, you must fix this siege limit immediately. I find it amazing that you guys can come out with fixes about a dungeon or some other PvE thing within a day after an update, but it’s been 2 days now, and this isn’t fixed. I hope you can see why your WvW community feels neglected. Also, the layering of the commander tag on the mini map needs to be fixed as well as bringing back party member dots to blue, no matter what the proximity is to other party members.
Please let things settle down with your new updates and put forth effort into fixing the things that have been broken or bothering us since launch, like the culling fix. You added the feature for a commander’s pings and map drawing are made visible to squad mates, but still haven’t implemented different color dots for the squad, like yellow. We still don’t have a drop down menu for offline or offmap people (which would enable us to kick them), and mesmer speed buff still doesn’t stack with anything unless it is the first speed buff. Those are just a few.
You folks are making steps forward, and that’s great, it just feels that a few of the steps forward have resulted in a few steps back.
Blackgate Native. It takes tremendous strength and skill to pull a lever.
