Agree with this, especially the bit of oblivious-ness, although it was funny to hear them talk about Blackgate and the total point totals being closer (now the top 3 are tied for 1st).

IOJ and Yaks were within 4k for first place at this time, and instead let’s talk about NSP. The ending 10k winning margin is the closest game that NA has seen for any matchup to determine the winner this season, but they don’t really even focus on that being a good match up. I would have thought that would get more focus …

And yeah the “HoD looks like they made a huge move” … do they really not know why? Being on Yaks, I’m less than thrilled with every other match up likely being a blow out, probably trading off with SBI and/or IOJ to join FA to face HoD.

On the HoD comment: I think they’re just trying to make it sound like really exciting™ things are happening: “HoD, the low ranked server is doing so well, who knew they could pull it all together!” It’ll likely fool non-WvW players. Because they can’t be that out of touch, can they?

As for blowouts. I believe the winner of every match except maybe one or two (NA) has been determined by the end of the weekend. Don’t know if that’s better or worse than last season, but in an absolute sense, it’s really bad.

I’m really looking forward to them discussing the EU rankings, who knows, maybe AG will get mentioned

Heh. Hod is in a similar position to EU’s Gandara in silver. Both servers got stacked when they had free transfers. Not that it matters at this point, they ARE trying hard with their 100 ball zergs, making the best out of their situation. I mean, with 80-90 people ques per map, they must be trying to become the silver stack-gate

I don’t think they’re trying to become it… I think they’ve accepted that’s all they are now XD

To look on the bright side of things, I’m also glad to finally see WvW on the twitch show! I hope it will become a more regular topic on the stream, and I hope it eases the feeling that many WvW players are that they are completely disconnected from the devs.

The actual implementation leaves some room for improvement though. (See posts above).
