A shout out to making the needed changes to the commander tags, I must say I’m quite surprised we were able to get the changes needed.

I just wanted to thank the developers and the community managers for listening to the player base on this topic.

We might be angry, we might be rude, but it’s because we have a lot of passion for WvW.

Thanks for listening to your fan base.

The new colors are cool and all…but its definitely not all they could have done given the amount of time they have had and apparently “been working on things”.

That it takes an ENORMOUS outpouring of rage to get anything positive for WvW is ridiculous (see also: Anet dev griefing GvG).

They should have done it right the first time — instead of attempting a blatant and egregious money grab.

See, if you just release new colors (which we all know takes about 2 years’ worth of hard work) people will be underwhelmed and complain.

If you release new colors and attach ridiculous conditions to them and then retract afterwards, you end up delivering the same thing but now people are like “thanks for listening! You guys did something right!” and then you have 2 more years to work on the next exciting WvW update, Waypoint Mastery.

Next big WvW update after few years will be new sentries armor skins… or new keep textures.

Indeed, thank you. Not that I’m happy with the 300 gold price either, but at least someone communicated and showed that our input is at least considered. I think this should be done regularly and not just when there’s an outrage that is big enough to catch the attention.
