The Inane Logic of Server vs Server
well it’s Server vs Server vs Server and it’s not sport. It’s a war like environment.

so whats your solution or is this just another witless QQ?

No, it’s not a war like environment. In a war like environment there are stakes on the line and real rewards. To simulate a war like environment WvW would have a very substantial impact on PvE, like civilians getting bombed in Germany during WWII. With that kind of pressure, real armies would be fielded with real organization and real effort would be put on everyone to get together and win. Plus there would be real rewards, like land or control over your opponent if you win. Cool gear and better loot drops, yadda yadda yadda. I think you get it.

You wound me, person that I do not know nor care about. You truly do.
Since you took the time to lay down some smack safely behind your computer however, I will take the time to point out that in another thread I did lay out alternatives for improving the WvW experience. This thread, as well, can be a constructive catalyst in coming up with ideas to improve the gaming experience.
Interesting idea to have PvE maps affected by the points in WvW. If done right, may encourage others to play in WvW.

Yes, if it must remain server vs server I would like to see this implemented so that more people would participate, join guilds, get organized, have fun teaming up and executing strategy and tactics.

I’ve seen plenty of threads start with constructive feedback and end in QQ, this has to be the first time I have ever seen one started with QQ in the hopes it becomes constructive afterwards.

Pointing out that something is a bad idea, is usually the start of finding solutions to that bad idea. Feel free to add something constructive instead of QQ’ing about my method of starting a conversation. Like, do you agree with me that the current server vs server vs server implementation makes no sense? Or do you like how they have it set up? And why would you agree/disagree with me? That way, instead of making this conversation about me, we can make it about the topic. Yay!
Global servers , 3 factions ins the solution…but they wont implement it, so no point discussing it.

They could do this, migrating to one “mega server” like Elder Scrolls Online is doing, phasing this so that matchups could be more even thus true tests of player teams.
Bomb Germany? What is this thread about?
PvE should be one server (there is no reason at all the separate them) with multiple overflows created as the need arises, this would make each map more populated too and remove the need for guesting.
Players would optionally join a wvw ‘team’. Since these teams would only be made up of wvw players anet could better manage wvw populations and balnce them much better then servers that could be 90% pve players and 10% wvw, vice verse or anywhere inbetween.
Anet would also then have the option of making teams for different time zones. Players would be able to join more then one time zone team if their play hours cover more then one zone.
The last part I don’t think would even be necessary once strict wvw population controls were possible through the use of splitting wvw and pve pops.
AS has been said before – Use the 3 orders (priory, vigil and shadows) have them fight on EACH server- that way each server must fight itself- for the honour of the order. This was created by the orders as a training ground for the defeat of the dragons. Reward the winning team with xp/karma/mf/g/wxp bonuses. This would also tie in the personal storyline so it would make a difference what order they joined as it would affect which side they were in wvw.

That’s not what TESO is doing for their RvR; the RvR is sectioned into “campaigns” which are, in simpler less deceptive words, server shards. You sign up for a “campaign” with your faction and fight in that “campaign”. And for a fee you can even change “campaigns”!
Boy, that all sounds awfully familiar.
Oh… and the game hasn’t even released or even been shown to the general public, so let’s not compare our ability to imagine the “perfect game” to a game in existence.
