Since the change to stability, I read post after post of people on the blobby servers raging because they lose all their stacks of stability in 0.2 seconds to the big bad pug blob.

Well, I got a revelation for you!

Here in the lower tiers, we have constant 5 – 10 – 15 man fights were stability still work perfectly.

When you get tired of playing the pirate ship blob game, come visit us for true WvW :P

Or, transfer across (EU <→ NA)

The big reason why people don’t transfer down is because of more action more of the time. Even though basically all of us hate pirate ship meta, having more active players around the clock makes it a better social experience than lower tiers.

“More action more of the time” as in “bigger zergs during prime times”.

Queues speak for themselves. The ones waiting could easily be fighting in a lower tier.

Brilliant solution! I know when I go to play massive combat WvW I want the last possible number of people I can run into. That’s exactly what I look for.

Also waiting in queue has never been that bad cause it means you know there will be action there. It’s like waiting in line to get into a bar. Sure I could go to any dive bar and get in instantly or I could wait a bit and get into that hot new night club instead. It’s generally worth the wait.

Blob fighting = non skilled players that rely on the blob to make up for a players short comings. This is 100 percent true stay on your blob server.

The only difference between lower and higher tiers is coverage.

I’m never coming back to mid/lower tier servers. I like my massive multiplayer online to be massive, tyvm.

Brilliant solution! I know when I go to play massive combat WvW I want the last possible number of people I can run into. That’s exactly what I look for.

Also waiting in queue has never been that bad cause it means you know there will be action there. It’s like waiting in line to get into a bar. Sure I could go to any dive bar and get in instantly or I could wait a bit and get into that hot new night club instead. It’s generally worth the wait.

Aren’t “nightclubs” where losers wait outside the doors with their fake friends for hours, just so they can get in and order overpriced mediocre drinks and offer them to other fake people who are just there for the smidgeon of a chance to bring home a girl or guy for an awkward sexual encounter to regret the next day?

Yeah, down here in T8, the lowest on the ladder, Sorrow’s Furnace – we actually got a queue (6players) the other day, although most of the time there is no queue, but always action. Usually many solo roamers, some groups of 3-5 roamers battling other equal sized roaming groups, and a zerg of about 10-15 taking towers and keeps/battling another zerg of similar size per BL.

T1 is the place to be if you dont enjoy looking 10min+ for a fight.

The whole point of transferring to a higher tier is to have action outside of NA prime. Wake up early and feel like gaming? Hop on and find the zerg. Likewise if you can’t sleep. Can’t do that in lower tiers.

You do realize you are telling them to all transfer down which will ultimately lead to blobs on your server as well….right?

So what you’re saying is we should all transfer to Emry’s Bay and whatever T# servers you play against. Because redistributing the population to fill another servers maps at their designed capacities will somehow resolve the issue?

@OP, I play on a t1/t2 server because I’m outside NA, and generally don’t play prime time. I play it because like other people have said, i dont have to wait 10 mins for a fight and still get to “experience” the game, so-to-speak.

Where is this tier, I am on tier 1 and i have not seen 100 man ques in a verrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time. Hell on reset i can get onto almost any map, the one that has the big fight might be qued but the rest are open. Those servers above tier 1 are just so overcrowded by the sound of it.

That was maybe a year ago. On SFR (#1 EU) we dont even have queues on all maps during primetime all the time, usually only EBG has queue and not even a long one.

Even if people transfer down to make thing more balanced, as soon as anet announce a tournament, everyone will transfer back to T1 servers.

“More action more of the time” as in being able to get on at a random hour and not having to worry about “oh it’s oc and the other servers have none, so let me rub my face against a door until my work scheduled gets back into playing na times where I can actually get fights”.

Dead timezones are not fun.

destack a small portion of T1 and T2 equally (not all of em though)…but one can dream right?
