Can the WvW devs give us updates on their own WvW meta progress? We have passed the 20% mark of the season.

Mist merc vanquisher needs to be reduced to 25 (max).

Sentry kills need to be reduced slightly.

Dolyak kills need to be reduced slightly.

Kills need to be drastically increased (took most guildies 1 or 2 days).

This is based on the progress of semi-hardcore players after 2 weeks.

And yet there were people having completed the meta just a few days after season 1 started, so I would say that they are just right. They are supposed to take around 7 weeks after all.

They seem okay to me to be honest. Those that focused solely on them and played a lot are already done. Those like me who are playing the game as always should finish by week 7. I’m somewhere around half way done and I haven’t even focused on the achievements, nor played outside of my normal hours.

They seem fine. Atleast there not like there pve feats of get 10000 pieces of candy corn. Or hop through some kittened jumping puzzle for hours and hours.

Finished Friday before reset – I like that these weren’t super easy, and it did take all week playing pretty regularly.

Finished the meta in the first week playing about 4-5 hours of WvW per night. Easily doable the most casual WvW players over a 7 week period.

Extremely disappointed. Was expecting warrior to pop up in the first reply.

some of achievements are just ridiculous. it forces you to just zerg around to get that many ranks or kills or whatsoever.

it’s funny how you get in 1 hour so many ranks if you zerg. no wonder wvw has turned into dumb bag farm.

The requirement for each tick of Demolition Expert needs to be reduced so it’s easier to get credit. When you commonly run with a group or zerg of at least 10 (and usually several times that) it’s pretty much impossible to get in even a few hits with a ram or shots with a treb.

I’ve heard that even if you hit the door enough with your personal weapon you can get credit for DE. But I’ve totally unloaded on at least two dozen doors with my ranger (lvl 80, mostly beserker, exotic gear, ascended longbow) and only have 1/10 in Demolition Expert.

You can use your weapons but gates have a lot of hp so you have to do a lot to get the tag. If your zerg has 2-3+ rams up, its very unlikely that you’ll get enough damage in.

I started bring the rams for my zerg. I just told commander to not worry about rams and always provided at least one so I was guaranteed a spot on it. I have plenty from WvW and you can buy them for cheap.

I’m about 2/3s done with the meta should finish next week when I have more time to play. The only one I find to be a tad high is sentry. Mostly because it is so boring to take those point.s

Does being in a group have any relevance for any of these achievements? I know sometimes in some games if a group member does something I got credit for it too.
