I create a topic to express yourself about the NA players on Eu servers.
So there wont be anything that could be called “posts that are off topic/derailing are not allowed by Moderation”
As it is a topic to express yourself about the huge presence of NA on Eu servers and how they impact the competition.

Feel free to express yourself. But please, don’t derail into a great deal of negativism and poor display of sportsmanship because we don’t want another topic to be closed. Only constructive contributions please.

Of course posts that are rude or insulting are not allowed. Try to provide any meaningful contribution to the topic at hand.

This way, moderation won’t close this topic and you will be able to provide constructive posts and serious suggestions.

They are good and we want more of them!

BUT I don’t want my server to be treated like their Afghanistan. Once you come, we’d like you to stay even after the initial victory.

Remember when people on the forums were complaining about Oceanic presence on NA servers? Well, now you share our pain.

I disagree with it though, I wish people would just have the integrity to stick to their region.

or better yet ALL servers both NA and EU in one big ladder

In my personal opinion it is something wrong with this system, from one side we have a NA and EU ladder but from other hand there is no restriction for the players to transfer across NA and EU regions and participation in WvW .
And we don’t have a clear statement from Anet about this problem, ( or there is not a problem at all from the Anet point of view ).
PS what is a point to have EU servers, and EU competition if results will be dependent form the amount NA players on "EU"servers ???

There is a statement about this and it’s pretty old (August 16, 2012).

By default, we display the worlds that are hosted in your regional data center, but you will be able to select a home world from either region at this time. So, for example, if you are a European player who prefers to play on the North American worlds, you’re free to do so.

There won’t be and there shouldn’t be.

I’m fully against it. They make our most competitive server full in no time, giving the actual EU players almost no interesting wvw server choice.

This problem would be a lot smaller if there didn’t exist french/german/spanish servers. I agree it’s usefull they exist, but now all the americans go to English (international) servers on EU, wich there are only a handfull of them, if we only count the serious wvw contenders. Either increase capacity of any international server (English), or stop this US/EU hopping.

Someday, I may play on an EU server. And if I do, I’ll make a guild called Real American Hero [JOE]

I beleive there should just be one ladder, and it should’ve been there from the start.
IP restrictions would be horrible for many worldwide communities, and honestly, i feel that is more important that “oh no, they’re messing up our ladder”

On top of that, many people like talking to and meeting people from all over the world, and they shouldnt get restricted the way that some other companies do.

Yes the people moving should be moving to a better home not the next stadium…

Yes they should stay but that would have required them to have moved there for the right reason first.

By the way who exactly does Afghanistan belong to if the occupying country never leaves? I think they call that conquering…

if a foreign countries military is allowing you to exist in the way you like you can look at it as an “occupation” but the simple truth in my mind is that they are in control. On paper it might look like you still have a country but in reality your are a conquered people.

babysitting depending on the context of the exact usage in this case is nothing more than semantics. If you look at it that way how many Countries is the USA babysitting right now? Do they need a spanking? Should they go to bed without dinner?

Well it does depend on the reason why those foreign armies stay. If they are not welcomed anymore, then it does feel like a conquest. If they are still needed then it is a babysitting.
You can ask whether a country unable to exist without foreign help should exist to begin with sure, but that’s quite a different topic. On this matter we went a bit off topic there… I suppose this was not about US foreign policy :/

Watching Mos.millenium it seams that almighty Deso incl. Ruin is really getting stomped by BT, we will see. Maybe this is a sign for some NA-players that EU is not only PvD, and that they will have more fun in their own ladder? We will see, too.
What I’m afraid of is that in the next weeks, the first in T2 will change places with the third T1. That would be VZ and ER in the moment. I`m playing on ER, I think as a languagetagged Server it`s no shame to say that we can`t handle 24\7. So, if anyone from ER had anytime the ambition running nacked with a Level one-Char in Wvw – now it`s the time!

Don’t count your chickens before they are hatched. There is a whole week of WvW ahead of us, and without the advantage awarded by night-capping, desolation doesn’t seem to be doing so well.

Blacktide always comes out strong the first night and day of the matchup (except the first time in T2, against ER and FSP), it’s all about seeing if we can keep it up, we haven’t always managed
