I am not normally a complainer. I have played GW/GW2 for 8 years now and this may be the first time I’ve actually complained about something in the games. The new matchup system may be fun for those in the top 2-3 tiers but for those of us in the lower end (because of population) is is horrible. The only thing that has been accomplished is to drive casual wvw players out because we are CONSTANTLY outmanned 5:1, 10:1, or more.

This week NSP is facing Darkhaven and Sorrow’s Furnace. DH has multiple zergs of 20-40 players in every map at all hours of the day and night. NSP MIGHT get 10 players in a map in off peak hours. How is this supposed to be fun for us? Getting constantly steamrolled blows. With any skill/desire at all DH could spread out and hold every objective in every map. Was this the intention of the update? There is simply nothing that can be done when you are outnumbered like that.

Rather than just moving servers around here and there at random why not do something about balancing numbers in wvw? How about alliances for a week, say four tiers of 6 servers and seed then in a bracket type format: have #1 + #6 vs #2 + #5 vs #3 + #4.

im from SOR, and the WvW is so unfair right now, were leading whit a HUGE advantage since were outmanned every server for like 10-1.

I will stop playing WvW untill we get equal world to fight ad start leveling another alt, too bad since i decide to focus in wvw and stop playing PVE, well time for another grind.

SOR member, I thought Tarnished Coast were at number 4 on the leader board, so really they should be putting up more of a fight, they are not far from your own tier. I wouldn’t feel to bad, it not like they were a bottom tier. Maybe instead of refusing to play wvw, invite them for gvg and maybe give some advice.

as for the original post, the new system has really only just come out, you cannot reasonably expect them to stop it right away, it has already been confirmed they are taking in data and listening to our thoughts and will be adjusting the math involved.

no one cares about fighting anymore, anet destroyed wvw completely with this “random” rolls. and yes, like devon wrote in another thread, they don´t care and they won´t change anything.

Not sure if you are new to the game or what, but the gap between Tier 1 and everyone else is huge.

second this.tc has a far bigger population than fa and there were weeks where we ran from 1 45man zerg into another 50 man zerg.sor is known for a massive popolation and coverage.

i still think the matchup system is not a complete failure. emry bay who we are facing atm, is giving us epic battles and has amazing defenses. they also dont just sit in the tower, they are on the field stacking and pushing. mag is also working hard, so yeah we take them seriously and are having fun.

oh well if we face sor…we might just bunker down in 1 tower and that will be all we have ;-)
