I’ll get us started.

Why?

This has been a thing on and off for a long time now and it can be the soul reason that you lose a structure. Why are tower/keep lords spawning and staying (even after they upgrade) outside of their structures?

Why?

I have something like 2.5k Proofs between all of my characters and very little badges because of how much are required to buy blueprints/traps meanwhile very few Proofs are required when they’re a lot easier to get. I’m constantly low on badges and constantly overflowing with Proofs.

If you have any other screens of things in WvW that just make you go “why?”… Like Dragon banners for example… Post them here.

Sadly I don’t have pics but I still have questions. Why is this wall still glitching between wood and stone after patchnotes say it has been fixed? Why are shield generators blocking siege placement? Also why Dragon banner?

While I still have many thousands of normal badges, I have noticed the same type of drain when buying superior siege. You dont get enough normal badges to cover the heroics. Guess this is Anets way of doing a badge sink and kitten us off at the same time by restricting bag space for WvW (but not to worry, by more for gems!).

Here is my list of WHYs:

It is obvious that majority of the WvWvW players want the old Alpine borderland back and WvWvW is losing players. Why Arenanet isn’t bringing the old borderland back and call it WvWvW classic?

Why WvWvW offers significantly worse rewards than any other game mode? (including spvp)

Why the badge drop out rate has been reduced? (each laurel + badge combination, buying WvWvW weapons needs a lot of badge, siege/traps also needs badges)

Players have been requesting better balance for WvWvW. Why the developers keep adding elements, which seriously reduce balance, such as banners?

Players want to know more about what Arenanet is doing, why there is almost no developer interaction on these forums? (writing one article per week takes less than 1 h)

Why are proofs of heroics soul bound? (now there is NO use for them if you already unlocked the hero points for your main character and you ran out of badges)

Why experience points don’t count for any masteries in WvWvW? (it would be great if one could level up Tyria/HoT masteries there)

Why did anet decide that proofs need to be virtually worthless siege buying items instead of account bound skillpoint items? Why did they add turtle and Dragon banner? Why can you continuum split Dragon and turtle banner abilities? Why were activator with significant combat effects added? Why don’t we have ppk yet? it has been 3 years. Why anet make incentives for zerging and not small group outnumbered fighting? Why won’t anet swap back the bls or redesign the new ones? just revert it, it will take less time and you can touch up the old map graphics as you wish. Why did it take over 3 years to come up with a redesign that, if it follows track record, will make WvW worse? Why did anet add more PvE to WvW instead of to PvE.

For a long time people complained about not having enough useful stuff to spend badges on, so ofc anet nerfs boh drops instead of giving us anything useful. Its not pve or gemstore so why should they care…

Well WHY do not ANet re-build their own forum when even Zenimax could re-design their forum for ESO TU to become a bit more useful with some more control for user?

“Communication” isn’t that you force your player base to jump accross to other sites like Reddit, YT and Twitch to get the latest news. News should be published in one place and that is on their own forum…


Why make all advertising during beta for HoT and Guilds which later turns out to be a very expensive and time consuming process for Guilds and with Guild Upgrades (Dragon Banner and Turtle Banner are Guild upgrades which need crafting in Scribes) that take away a lot of roamers motivation to upgrade buildings and camps, if they aren’t in a member of any guilds? I had fun to join in PUGs in WvW before went HoT went live and even learn how to do things here, but as for now it seem just to be too many obstacles to deal with that isn’t promoting solo roamers or small groups (and PUGs) to get together and even grow into more organised Guilds, but to actually just find the “perfect server” for the “perfect guild” to join.

**Just to make it clear: I am not against the existence of guilds by them self, but all social origination have sooner or later problems and conflicts which need to be solved. The way Guild is now connected with upgrades make potential conflicts larger as it have now a large impact on how WvW work for players.

Guilds in my opinion should only be something that promote fun activities in a community, but not give access to special skill like Dragon Banner or Turtle Banner which effect game play in WvW.

I think the first one is a bug thing and they are not respawining the npc but simply reviving it.

The reason why you have so many of though was when HoT first came out it took a lot of HP to unlock all the elite spec but there was a back lash so they cut down on the number of hp needed taking away the need for all of them but they did not cut back on how many they gave you.
