There needs to be a cap on bannering the lord
Just need to add a down state for all of the gurad npc and set it to where you can only banner down state players / mobs.
Guild : OBEY (The Legacy) I call it Obay , TLC (WvW) , UNIV (other)

Once again. This game does not need to reward bad offense. If you can not kill the player you did not deserve the cap. It is as simple as that. Anet has already said as much. Complaining will not help.

Yeah you whould kill the warrior…its not that a warrior can pull an extremely long invulnerability…. ._.
It can t even be stealthed by a thief….
Its all balanced….
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.
You only need one person to cap. The rest of your zerg should be preventing people entering the circle and/or stopping the keep lord from ressing. If you’re all having a jirclecerk in the lord’s room, you don’t deserve the cap

i wonder why they removed stealth capping ability then…its more fair.

Actually they’ve said just the opposite – that they definitely intend to look at bannering.

Take that away and you put the power firmly in the hands of the people with bigger numbers (see: server stacking).
Honestly the problem is skill lag from what I see. Its usually why these encounters are so drawn out. Server 1 hits server 2 hard and breaks into their garrison, BIG fight breaks out. Server 3 realizes that its missing out and wants in, skill lag ensures.
Banner ress is nothing like tactical or skill intensive…Keeping it because it favors the smallest side is not a valid point.
It can also favour the biggest side losing.

A recent development, last I had heard there was no plan to change it. But sure lets nerf this defense right along with the Door treb so that WvW becomes one great big karma train. Then when every one quits at least you can get your karma from capping the keeps no one bothers to upgrade or defend.
Personally I hope, it would be balanced by other changes which would make it harder for enemy forces to PvD in in the first place. But I guess we will have to wait and see. I agree a door treb nerf, without other balancing change would be a disaster!

Lord bannering, is the only way left in WvW of creating massive fights which last longer than a minute, so I want to keep Lord bannering as it is.
Why do you not like it, you can get 100’s+ bags and its awesome fun avoiding death in a closed space well slaughtering hundreds of other players…best fights ever.
Really who cares if you take the keep or they hold it? Its the massive fight it creates that’s the fun bit…

It has an advantage to a smaller server in the sense that the outmanned server wont have the numbers to push the enemies garri.
Further more i went on to mention that the reduction of skill lag would go in the direction of solving the issue because spamming one has nothing to do with skill either.
Feel free to offer solutions instead of just complaining.

I dont agree with bannering as such but in a 2v1, bannering is a last resort of that one server getting focused.
To simply take out bannering is an over simplification of the issue imo.
I agree there needs to be a cap. Bannering NPCs is fine in itself…..2-3 times. But then it needs to stop.
