I destroyed at least 1000. I hate you a-net.

Yeah some nice gold for those, glad I didn’t support anything
You got them in WvW…
I know, I got lots of them, but I dont know what are them for, or were for.

you could vote for some npc or whatever, but had to do some sort of jumping puzzle to get to the NPCs. They were useless until now, where you can sell them to any NPC for gold.
And anybody know how much per one ticket? (i am at work, so forum access but no game access)
think around 1s per ticket or so
kitten it! I had stacks of those from wvw and tossed them because they were unsellable before. GRRR!
That is bullkitten!!! Anet needs to announce this kitten or make it stated that they will be worth something! Threw out a few hundred

If they did announce it, a good number would just not do the living story. I’m glad I didn’t do the living world stuff. I learned my lesson to not delete tokens since I first deleted 2k AC tokens because I didn’t know what they were.

Holy crap… I have a few thousand of those things… where is the vendor?
“Youre lips are movin and youre complaining about something thats wingeing.”
Aaaaand facepalm.
Good thing I kept my two and a half stacks of them. Tough luck for everyone else who just kept deleting them.
Wow a stack is 2.85 gold and they can be sold to any vendor who buys.
“Youre lips are movin and youre complaining about something thats wingeing.”
They should have made them sellable before, doubt it’d influence the election much since people were selling votes before it was over anyway…and I heard stories of people’s selling legendaries to buy votes

Haha I knew it, luckily I kept all mine. Anet is so predictable
what about representation buttons….. ><
Buttons should worth more. The more Buttons you have, the more expensive they are due the all those clicking a person had to go through to get those buttons lol
I think i have piles of these things laying around. Nice move anet.
I spent around 3 stacks on voting and then deleted the support badges just to get rid of them and now Anet makes them worth gold… Wish I had known earlier, I would have rather had the gold than some fractal dungeon I will never run anyway.
In typical anet fashion, they tell you those things you’ve been collecting that were worthless as of yesterday, are now worth around 1.2s each, after the vast majority of players have destroyed hundreds.
They probably did that as a partial refund for the players who spent gold buying tickets.

This would make sense if those people hadn’t been the ones who actually voted, and therefore the ones with no more support tokens left over, only buttons (which are completely worthless, but hold on to them for the next 2 years because anet will probably 1 day make them worth millions)
Deleted them all. Anet should have told us earlier; we expect these items to be worthless after the event is over so it was natural to delete them.

The ticket vendors and mob drops were still active long after the election had ended. It’s a good way to purge them from the system.
Plus, it kind of makes up for all those weeks of running back into the heart of an enemy zerg just to pick up a wooden chest that should contain a rare, or possibly that precursor you’ve been waiting for since launch, but was actually a kitten support ticket.
It’s a tough spot for ANet to be in though. If you tell everyone that they’ll be worth gold (or any sort of reward, for that matter) when the event’s over, then everyone just holds on to them for later, and ignores the election. Don’t tell people, and they’ll be justifiably miffed after they delete seemingly useless junk. It sucks if you deleted yours, but try to appreciate the lose/lose situation ANet was in here.
No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind.
Buy the ticket, take the ride.
I wish our real political systems would reward people for not voting!
How much are they worth? I’ve got about 4 stacks in my bank gonna sell them when I get back in town.
4 Warriors, 3 Rangers, 3 Mesmers, 2 Engineers, 2 Guardians, and Necro, Thf, Ele
-Beastygate Beast Milk, OG BG Veteran Native
I voted… I like WvW.. but I also like lore… I WANTED ABBADON T.T

Precursors drop from steel chests I’m afraid. Wooden chests with all these silly events going on are not worth risking your life for.

Once the event was over, Anet probably should have just left them as worthless junk to be deleted — no one expected them to be worth anything anyway.
The real problem now is: Who’s going to vote next time knowing that the tokens will be worth money after the voting’s over? Bad precedent, Anet.
Ok, you’re probably right. It was kind of a dumb move in the long run.
