Can we get backpay on our tickets or something. I was at 5/6 diamond when the update hit. So i had earned 140 tickets, completed the 6th rank for 20 for a total of 160 on the week. This is less then I would have earned before the ticket increase and less than half what is possible to be earned in the week.

In the grand scheme of things it only sets me back a week but people who play a lot and were already done diamond do so in part because they want to be first. With the update you have ripped that away and are punishing the most dedicated players. Your diamond bug that allowed tickets to be re earned at 70 per completion of diamond track would have worked to remedy this but you chose to take that away. So you took the tickets away and took away the opportunity to re-earn what was lost.

Unfortunately Anet ignored all the feedback on this issue, and simply carried on without addressing their oversight.

A solution would have been to leave the repeating ticket rewards, or waiting until WvW reset before dropping the reward patch. I certainly doubt they will take the time and effort to calculate who gets what partial compensation. The ball was dropped, and now it will be swept under the rug.

Thanks for contacting the Guild Wars 2 Support Team regarding the recent changes of the World vs World Skirmish Tickets received from chests.  We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.  Sadly, WvW Skirmish Claim Tickets are not able to given out.  This is true for many time-gated currencies in the game.  I assure you the goal was not to retract from anyone’s abilities to earn tickets, while it may affect the current week it will be a good change for the long run.  Sadly, since patch days fall on Tuesday while WvW reset is on Friday, issues like this are inevitable.

Once again, I would like to express our deepest apologies for the current weeks difference in tickets you may experience.

And can we please think of the children.

I would like the 1525 tickets I dumped into Warbringer after we were told that there would be no legendary armor available in WvW. What else to spend the tickets on then if I already have enough ascended armor?

I love the change, but if I knew this was coming no way I would have spent the tickets.

Exact same replying template. The extra 3 tickets in my wallet are useless because as a wvw player, I am certainly hit all diamond chests every week.
