Guild Wars 2

So I’m getting back into GW2 and WvW after being away for a year and half.
I’m an SoR refugee who’s looking to get back into the action, but unsure about the current state of things.
I’ve done some digging and kinda sitting around two choices atm, but am open to suggestions:
TC or FA.
Been trying to transfer to TC for a few days now and the fullness of it is astounding and makes me want to cry and give up all hope(even with an autoclicker on).
Heard rumours FA will be shooting up in Tier 1, but also just wanted to know if T2 has got a decent EU timezone scene for WvW?

Suggestions/advice/rude remarks?

Aside from the fact that 5 out of 6 servers are full in T1/T2 on NA servers… I would suggest you take a look over here.

It gives you the strength of each server in each timezone. Depending on what you want, it makes it very easy to pick the right server.

For example, if you are looking for a free ride then just pick the server that is ranked the highest in the timezone that you play and they will carry you to victory in their karma train.

On the other hand, if you want to do the “right thing” and be a part of the solution, pick the server that is the weakest in your timezone for the tier you are looking to transfer and help them out.

Currently it’s just the beginning of the week, but as we close to friday, it will give you a much better indication of how well each server perform in each timezone across the week.

Also, don’t rule out tier 3 and below completely. They don’t provide zerg as big as tier 1-2 as consistently during those time, but they can be fun if you like small community.

FA won’t be shooting up to T1 anytime soon. A T1 server would have to implode for that to happen. FA has a pretty good EU scene with a few organized guilds during that time.

Yea I wouldn’t count on any T2 server coming to T1, really ever….a T1 server would have to pretty much loose two entire time zones (or JQ just loose TW lol) and I don’t see that happening any time soon.

Keep trying to transfer to T1, all three servers have good EU (granted BG is lacking in that TZ) but it beats T2’s spotty (at best) coverage. Auto clickers can be your best friend for getting into T1.

Finally the T2 “community” is the largest congregation of whiners and chest thumpers I have ever seen. Pre season “Were gonna kill X T1 server (generally TC) were so good and their so weak we can’t wait to bag farm them” During and after season “OMG all T1 does is blob and spawn camp us on every map”
