Pls lads. It’s a joke. Maguuma been using this crap all kitten day in this tier and with a buff like that, it’s only possible to take SMC when nobody is online, and given their current alliance that never happens.

I knew this would find it’s way here to the official forums in the form of tears.

At least you can be comforted by the fact that your groups would die in one push to the mag pug zerg even without cloaking waters.

That being said, Cloaking Waters needs to be Smiter’s Boon’d. It’s pretty unfun to be on the recieving end of.

From what I hear, Magumma learned it from TC. TC had SMC pretty much all last week, and Mag had to deal with Cloaking Waters, or so I heard from a friend on Mag complaining. Now they’re using it on other servers.

You think this had to be learned? As soon as they announced the stupid thing everyone knew it would be abused this way. It’s a terrible upgrade that only benefits the strongest server. I’m on mag by the way. .

Perhaps “learned” was the wrong term. All I know is people were complaining about it last week, and made similar posts. I’m in agreement that it’s a terrible upgrade, and that it shouldn’t have been put in. Or it should have restraints on it that doesn’t make it a pain in the kitten to opposing servers.

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll shave a couple seconds off its duration next update.

I like to use it and follow an enemy player and whisper them. “I’m close….very close to you” Then they spam aoe all over the place getting nervous.

“You’re getting warmer….oh so close, get ready!”

What an awful upgrade that heavily favors blob servers able to camp SMC at any time of the day. What’s worse is that certain servers use cloaking waters in conjunction with dragon banners, chilling fog, and airships in order to beat the 20 people trying to get to an inner gate. The way things are is that once the blob gets SMC they have it T3 for the duration of the week and it straight up sucks the fun out of everything because it’s such a crutch.
