I understand that and agree but hitting a level 80 char with some PVT for 95% of its health in one skill seems silly to me.

It does have a monstrously long wind up and it does have to be setup so I don’t think it is OP, but the fact that 25% or more of the population now run with a Warrior is somewhat telling as to how powerful the class as a whole is.

was nice crit and buffed warr owned you, its normal sniper build i use it too, its fun in WvW, one hit one kill, not lame, pure skill
max damage i had from killshot was arround 21k (using a guardian with 25k HP and 3.6k armor ), wall of reflection will work agaisnt it.
Zerker + full adrenaline an damage on boons makes this damage, there is a very cool sniping skillshot build.

Also if that guy is running in a zerg he is more a liability than boon to them when they run in to opposition.
They call them rallybots or something IIRC :p
My rules are – don’t run zerker in Zergs and if you are roaming with zerker gear you better be very good and a master of your class.

Killshot can and will hit that hard against any number of targets that have modest toughness:

The attacks preceding this kill shot were grenades. Grenades can easily stack 25 vulnerability in a very short time.

PoV has already been fixed(nerfed) so cross us off that outdated list.
As has elementalist mobility and survivability, several times. Meanwhile, warriors continue getting buffs.
Ask yourself if any of those classes can catch a mobility/regen warrior. Then ask if the warrior can catch them. The answers are NO, and YES, respectively, in case you aren’t into theory crafting or playing alts (I am, so I can verify both easily).
Mobility + damage + sustain is a huge issue of balance. (Well, when all the d/d ele haters were calling for nerfs last year, that was exactly their issue.)

A zerg warrior comes to the party with a big chunk of armor and HP already. They are essentially half bunker without dropping a single point into vit/toughness. If you are melting them and by them I mean skilled warriors not scrubs, then you are frying everything that isn’t a bunker. While I won’t question your skill level, my guess in a duel with a decent zerk warrior we won’t see any melting.

This is a killshot whine thread, not a QQ warrior ran away from me thread.
Well we all know how ridiculously overpowered Anet have made Warriors in WvW but what I just witnessed was a new level of stupid.
My total health is usually 18.9k and I just got hit for 18.7k in one hit by a warrior, explain to me how this game is not broken and how one class is not overpowered compared to the rest.
That’s a kill shot. Highly telegraphed and therefore easy to avoid. It’s perfectly fine.
It takes a lost of casting time for a rifle warrior to do it and can be easily dodged or interrupted and it as a large cool down. Think of a sniper build. Usually rifile warriors aim for squishy players that already lost a lot of health or just healed and then put them into down state or close to it.
He probably watched you tag in the fight and saw that you were the perfect target. Welcome to the world of ranged combat my friend. Not all warriors play zerker melee.
Also not many players are actively playing rifle warriors as you cannot tag large groups.
/me plays a very tanky rifle warrior. If I see someone running with low HP, I provide the kill shot from the defensive end. You really need to pick the appropiate target now and then you know that will go down.

Roll a warrior and use the rifle and tell me what you think then. It’s hands down the worst weapon in the game for the warrior.
It’s comedy when you separate these bad glassy rifle warriors from a zerg and fight them in a 1v1. They can’t do a single thing and just get demolished.
So… please…enlighten us all… what are the disadvantages of playing a warrior in the current state of the game?
High Survivability – check
High Dmg – check
High mobility – check
While all other classes have a trade off, the warrior seems to have none.. Hmmm seems fair.

If you had 30k hp and 2k toughness you are most definitely tanky. 2.5k on the other hand is squishy. A warrior with 2.5k armor is squishy for warrior standards which was what I was pointing out.

Where is the telegraph when you only see a culled nameplate somewhere in the enemy zerg 1500 units away? KS needs to telegraph a targeting reticule at your feet, similar to that deadeye boss fight from a couple patches ago.

If you are in a zerg so large that you have to turn the culling on, then you need to stop being so squishy. Kill shot should never one shot you. At most you should take 6-8k damage which is fine considering that the warrior shooting you has to give up all aoe (except potentially piercing shots) and all his utility and all his adrenaline to shoot one person.
Meanwhile, useful warriors are hammer stunning up 5 people, which kills WAY more than a KS warrior ever does. KS warrior is just a fun troll build, if you die to it you deserve to.

Funny because I remember a while back when all I saw was thieves, thieves, and MORE THIEVES in WvW. As long as a thief I able to re-stealth every 3 seconds in Guild Wars 2, they will always be able to escape from any fight more than a warrior or any other class ever could. Thieves have always been the class I have most hated playing against, next to mesmers. (and yes, I have played those classes also).

Lol thieves have never had backstab nerfed, they still do the same 7 – 8k on 3k armor targets… But that’s another class and another thread, this one is about Warrior killshot, which I don’t mind as much as the Warriors charging in, hitting for 3 – 6k a swing and then when low, pop 2 – 3 skills and run away to regen to full health. Still not as bad as a thief getting away, but still annoying. At the very least, a mesmer can stop a warrior running away with Arcane Thievery.

Try sniping in Planetside or Tribes and then come back and tell us how it’s “Pure Skill” when GW2 does all the aiming for you

Gonna disagree, any move that 1 shots anyone, no matter how squishy, it’s broken.
Any tell is basically rendered moot when shot from behind a blob.

No skill regardless of telegraph should 1 shot anyone, glass cannon, upleveled, or otherwise.
In a 1v1 you’ll be able to see the telegraph and avoid it, but as soon as more people get involved it gets exponentially easier to get it off. Enemies on a wall defending a tower? What are the chances they see the warrior doing killshot in 30+ people? Of course if seeing the telegraph is your point of balance there are tons of skills that should be 1-shotting people all over the place. Pretty much any ability in the game the requires an enemy to sit in it should do 15k damage, but they aren’t balanced for that because that would be stupid…
Balance in this game is an absolute joke because there is no rhyme or reason to most of it. It starts with each classes base health and armor and only gets worse with each ability. Oh your in lower armor in melee range with lower base health, clearly your melee attacks should do less damage than the higher health higher armor classes. You have lower base health lower armor and your ranged attacks STILL do less damage than a higher health higher armor class?! That’s before we even get into telegraphs and hard to land attacks. There is nothing special about Kill Shot that should allow it to do the damage it does. There are plenty of other attacks in the game that are easily avoidable and harder to pull off that don’t do nearly the same damage.

they get high survival, high dmg, high moblity regardless what build they run
look at zerker eles or thieves: they get one shot if they get caught
would war get one shot? nah; it still takes some work to kill even zerker warrior and if he doesn’t want to fight he has the best moblity in game and can get away at any given time
i am honestly rather disappointed that anet follows the same road as blizzard with warriors in their game: stupid survival, stupid dmg, stupid moblity, almost no trade off
in wow it lead to a point where every team had a warrior…. let’s make guild wars 2 to just wars 2 eh?
