Most of this video seems to be common sense knowledge…minus the art of war quote.

Yes, to anyone with the information it would look like common sense. If I know how to build a house and I pick up a book labeled “How to build a house” I should expect a great deal of info in this book to agree with what is already in my mind.
I am glad my information conquered with your reasoning
I have a video for siege basics (SERIOUSLY BASIC). People told me “know one needs that”, I make it perfectly clear at the start of the video that it is for peopel whoe have never used seige. While it isn’t a popular vid it has good audience retention and over 100 views. It was made for people who needed basics and they found it
Best of luck to you in WvW!

The more experienced players get, the more they seem to forget they all had to learn sometime
I am curious about your Siege instruction vid, would you mind posting it or send me a pm?
It’s good that people make videos as this one, but the topic name was misleading as is the videos name as well.
“Tips to improve” sounds like there is some indepth tactics or such in the video, but actually it was all about supply effeciency. Also the video name is “The perfect team” while the video itself didn’t talk anything about the team outside of the size and maybe some activities teammembers can do.
And lastly, the video consentrated mostly around the Teams efficiency on taking supplies and hitting places and still it didn’t talk anything about WXP Upgrades! Why didn’t you talk about Supply Capacity or Supply Master, both are excellent tools when it comes to small parties becouse it allows a 5 man party to have 100+ supplies with them (if you count the Supply Masters lucky resupply trait).
So basicly the most efficient party size in the video discussed, wasn’t the most efficient for the job. It’s actually 5 person party with everyone traited into Supply Capacity, Mastery and relevant siege masteries to breach into towers and keeps. Also, not included was Guild Catapults, which are one of the most supply efficient siege to destroy towers. Yes, you mentioned about your other video about siege, but this piece of siege should have been said in the video because with 5 person having all 20 supplies you can make 4 of these things and just melt Wooden or Reinforced Hills outer and inner wall.
Oh my god thats a wall of text, Im sorry.
TL;DR
Title and Video names are misleading. The most efficient thing isn’t the most efficient. I’m glad you make videos like these for beginners, but maybe name them accordingly?

Here’s the funny thing, If you only have 400 pts I would not recomend getting the personal sup buff. While only my opinion I think it is a VERY poor way to invest those points until you have guard buffs and catapult buffs.
The things mentioned were fairly cheap and help the entire group (vs just 1 person being superman).
According to google a “tip”=“hint” and hint is defined as “suggest or indicate something indirectly or covertly”. I have indirectly suggested in the vid if you don’t have this buff than get it.
You suggesting the entire team run with the wxp sup buff tells me you probably have ALOT of wxp points, so precieving things from your stand point you expected more from the word “tip”. I have less than 400 pts and I don’t tell people how to spend their points as those decisions can be as personal as what weapons to choose.
Overall thx for the feedback, hopefully some of the players who watched the video and gained from it can come here to learn a little more. When you are making 5 min vids that can be seen by people not fully clear on WvW it can be hard to decide what to say now and what to wait for another episode for but no worries some of what you mentioned will come in later episodes.
TL;DR
Some of what video is missing will actually appear in other episodes. It’s hard to choose what to put in a 5 min episode.
