To NS and SoR and all other servers
just to note, daoc fans have been overly vocal about the 3factions concept for years now because the idea beign when you can’t take on the opponent alone you team up with the 3rd faction.
weird how that works.
Yeah if one team is amazing, then yeah. But if its the start and we’re already losing and you team up on us, not very fun :P. I’m all for it, but it doesn’t seem to work half the time. Especially you can’t really take control of all the server and if one server starts owning, there is usually one server that just quits. They are usually in last.
Meh, this is so “at the moment” when who gains up on whom. For us half the time it’s getting the pressure off so we will take or hold depending to push the tides to our favor. Also home servers are all about a 3 way battle and are designed that way. Your home server map will always be a 3 way. When you are on another home land server that is not your own, you are right bottom or left bottom and that is your nitch. Home servers have two fronts while the bottoms have one and all depending on where you make your borders and push is the out come of how fights become 2 or 3 ways.
There is no doubt that some might actually work to gain up on another , happen to us last map rotation and they should have done it sooner, could have almost won but alas the 3 way battle is the best battle. For if one sided is over-populated the other lessers can counter it. There is nothing negative about this concept, it keeps the battles going and people playing.
If thou you beleive people are making treaties just for hacking that might be , but to be honest I never see this myself, it takes more then hackers to do something. However if a server is getting hacked daily and one side ends up with those orbs each time? I could see that happening, have issue with it? figure out who on your server is hacking and report it. Your best bet.

edit: I Should note us smashing on Yak has nothing to do with hacking, even if you think that. It has to do with tactics and I won’t go into details, that’s for you and your server to figure out.

There is no ‘treaty’ involved when both teams are ganging up on one server. If you own Stonemist, you better be prepared to be attacked by both servers. That’s how it goes and that’s how it will go.
Friday it was agree the Yak’s was not allowed on NSP BL, but that ended sat morning, we only made major efforts to keep you out for 1 day for the hack.
I know not of and cross server alliances though, that was just NSP attitude.
SoR teaming up with NSP? First I have heard of it.

Funny, because a lot of NSP players have gotten the distinct impression that we were being singled out. Which we were. Not because someone decided to be jerks to us, but because that’s how the 3 team system works. When you can’t get past one team, and they’re holding out against 2 to 1 odds, you stop trying to fight a war on two fronts and focus the greater threat. I’ve seen it happen in Eternal where we had SM and held it off against both teams at the Lords Room. It was actually a heck of a fight, it lasted forever but neither team could quite get through the hall ways. When we broke the siege and pushed them back enough both teams went up the edges of the map and tried to cut us off between spawn and SM. It worked and we had to split our forces up and try to stop two servers in two different locations. It drastically weakened our presence on Eternal.

There are no treaties that I’m aware of. Generally speaking if one server has more assets they are usually targeted by both servers without the need to form treaties. I know I still attack any red player whether they are from YB or NSP. I’ve played with ZoS and TOG in other games so I tend to enjoy picking friendly fights with them purely because I recognise their tag. No malice involved, no treaties just good ol fashioned PvP fun
I don’t think there have been any explicit treaties involved other than the one day we’re many of us on NSP made a concerted effort to drive Yak’s from our Borderlands that Windmoor mentioned.
Something I have noticed as we have moved up the ladder is that in this tier, servers have much more map awareness and in turn, are extremely opportunistic. If sA sees sB driving all of their forces to hold an orb at the east while sC throw themselves at said keep, sA push up and around the west side of the map because they know it will be lightly defended.
It’s simply opportunism, not any sort of official treaty to attack one team.
I for one, love the mechanic of three teams because of this.
The best part is that one of those two treaty servers actually did the hacking in this new matchup (NSP, I think it was), and flew an orb across the map. Too bad for SoR and NSP that YB has been making good progress despite this double teaming and has a chance at coming back during the week.
Main: Hunter.
Theres no treaty between SoR and NSP.
SoR just has very flaky zergs that prefer weaker targets so Yak’s get’s it.
